Von and I walked down the sidewalk, trying to find a place to stay at, when we heard someone running behind us.

"Wait!" We heard a familiar voice yell. We turned around to see the employee from the clothing store running down the sidewalk, until she face planted on the ground. I ran towards her, as she pushed herself off the ground and got up.

"Are you ok?" I asked, as she wiped small prices of rock off of her pants.

"Yeah, I'm just extremely clumsy." The girl said with a smile on her face.

"So, what's up?" I asked. She looked at me, confused, for a moment and then she smiled once again.

"Oh, right! I overheard you guys saying you need somewhere to stay at for a few months." She said, "I have room I need to rent out and, well, yeah." I looked at Von, who looked disinterested in the conversation, and punched him in the chest.

"Ouch, that hurt so much." Von said, sarcasm dripping from each word.

"You want me to make it hurt?" I asked with a serious expression.

"Nope. So, what is it?" He asked.

"We were just offered a room to rent out for the next few months we need to stay here for." I explained, restating what the girl had just said.

"Ok." Von said, and I turned back to the girl, in which I still didn't know the name of.

"Uh, by the way, what's your name?" I asked, and she widened her eyes.

"Oh, sorry. I'm Max. Max Pinto." She said, with a smile on her face.

"I'm Phoenix, and this is Von. How much is rent?" I asked, interested in her offer.

"Um, around five hundred a month, of coarse the deal includes use of the kitchen. The room is attached to a bathroom so, that of coarse is also included." Max replied, grinning widely.

"Von, what do you think?" I asked, looking to Von for approval with a smile..

"I think it's a good deal." Von said, smiling slightly down at me.

"Ok, cool! We'll take the deal!" I said, happy that it was easier to find a place to stay at than I thought it would be.

"Great! Here's the address." Max took a piece of paper out of her Jean pocket, and a pen out of her shirt pocket, and wrote the address on the piece of paper. She handed it to me, and looked down at the watch on her wrist."I should go, my shift isn't even over and I'm out of the store. See you guys later!" Max waved to us, and ran back to where she came from.

"Well, that was easier than I thought it would be!" I said, turning to Von, who seemed distracted.

"Yeah..." Von said, and I raised a brow.

"I'm thinking of marrying Raphael." I said, and Von just nodded.

"Yep." I rolled my eyes and turned away, before feeling Von wrap his arms around my waist, making me tense up. "No you're not. I would've known." Von said with a hint of jealousy.

"Or maybe, our bond is breaking." I said, challenging him.

"Oh really now?" Von asked, hit breath burning my cheek.

"Really." I said, not backing down. Von let go of my waist, and then right before I could turn around to see if he was okay, he squeezed my sides, making me squeak. "Hey!" My voice went unusually high, and before I knew it Von was tickling me and we were attracting attention from the few people on the street. "Stop! Stop! Please!" Von stopped, as he grinned widely with his face lit up.
