Ezra's POV:
L.A is so cool. I moved here to pursue what I love most, writing. I moved into an apartment complex with my best friend, Hailee, (who we call Lee) and my boyfriend, Lukas. Hailee is Hispanic, with golden brown skin and soft brown hair. She has hazel eyes that make you feel like you're lost in a jungle. Lukas was pretty tall, compared to my very aggressive 5'5 physique. Lukas has fluffy brown hair with a red undertone. He has gray eyes and a muscular body type. He is a little sunkissed from the California sun with a slight farmers tan.
My natural hair color is a light blonde, but I dyed it to a strawberry blonde. I have fair skin with some freckles. I have brown eyes and I have a complicated personality. I also made a new friend when Hailee started a party on our first night in the city. His name was Noah. He is a little shorter than Lukas, standing at a solid 5'11. Noah has dirty blonde hair with electric blue eyes. He is incredibly nice. Noah is a homosexual but we don't judge here. If he wasn't gay, I would've totally set him up with Lee.
Hailee, Lukas, and I are from a small town in Minnesota. Lukas and I are high school sweethearts, being together for roughly 6 years. I've known Lee since middle school. It was a small school so you could memorize everyone's names in no time. Lee had just moved into town due to a "successful" adoption. She would bounce back and forth from orphanages to foster homes, which also led her to going to multiple schools, and not finding her forever home. She felt like a pet. Hailee came to our school and we immediately connected. Her family was about to give her up, then my aunt took her in, who lived next to us. She stayed there until we moved to L.A.Lukas had the bright idea of moving to Los Angeles. I still don't exactly know what had caused him to come here but I'm not mad at him. I will admit, it is very warm here, and I'm not sure if this is the lifestyle for me, especially with a two hour time zone change. I'm so used to bitter, cold winters in Minnesota. In California, it is completely miserable. It's always so humid. But it's alright. As long as Hailee, Lukas, and I are together, we will be alright. And with some other insights from Noah, of course. I'm so thankful for Noah. He has helped us with our journey of living in California for the month we have been here. I don't know what we would do without him.
Lee, Lukas, and I were all fortunate enough to get our apartments right next to each other, and our balconies connect. We go and barge into each other's apartments whenever we feel like it. Lee has been doing a bunch of furniture shopping. She was given some money to get on her feet before we came. I, on the other hand, have been struggling a lot. I've been trying to find a job for about a week now and have only been to one interview. I don't exactly know what I will do right now.
