"Why will you be bombarding my phone with calls when I told you I'll be late and won't make it early?" The deep angry voice of Alex asked Fahad glaring at the smaller one annoyingly as if he's a nuisance.
"But you're too late and you always come to places on time, so I thought I really should ... " Alex stared intently at Fahad daring him to continue but Fahad as the wise one knows not to or the favour he will ask for will not be given to him.
"Fine you're not late bro so chill and release some endorphins " he said to the irritated face of his cousin who raised a single brow at his attempt to escape.
"What are you awarding me that will make me release them?" He asked leaning back on his seat staring at Fajad who smile awkwardly and waved his hand to dismiss it.
"Just forget let's get back back to serious matters" he dismissed the awkward tension as he realized his cousin will surely embarrass him if he dare not shut up and continue to blabber.
Aliya watched them in amusement as she can clearly see the fondness in Alex's eyes when he looks at Faha although he acts like Fahad is nothing but a nuisance and trouble to him while seeing Fahad getting embarrassed is another bonus.
He cleared his throat and introduced Aliya to Alex as Alex stare at her with a blank look but amused eyes as he realized Fahad was trying not to be embarrassed in front of her earliar, he can see how his eyes closely look at the yellow hazel brown eyed girl.
"I know her" he stated boredly
"Huwn! How?" Fahad immediately asked, turning his attention now to Alex who's sipping on the tea brought to him earlier by the maid.
"What do you mean how?, she's Aliya Sultan Malik, knowing her is not big deal as she has been in news recently since her arrival " he said casually.
"Oh!. But I feel like there's more to you knowing her through the media" Fahad pressed his brother on as he knew he wasn't saying something.
"Com'n Alex say it, you know we're all here because of her" Fahad said confessing the reason for the meeting to his strong headed cousin.
"What do you mean we're here because of her little asshole?" Alex loud voice asked in confusion and irritation.
"You didn't tell him before now?" Aliya finally opened her mouth asking Fahad baffled at his action.
"Ehm, I thought I'll relay everything when we meet and not on the phone?" He said unsure causing Alex to roll his eyes at his brother's stupidity and fake attempts in sounding guilty to please the caramel skin girl who is now looking at him baffled at his idiocity but with amusement twinkling in her yellow eyes.
"I...want you to help me with information about Adam Samson, including all his plans and people associated to it and to report me his moves" Fahad relayed staring into the eyes of his cousin who's now looking at him like a psycho then like a pitiful soul.
"I thought the story of Rebecca was closed " Alex's pitiful gaze looked at Fahad as he stare at him waiting for a response seeing his stupefied expression before annoyance flare in his features.
"It isn't about her" he shouted glaring at poor Alex.
"Oh! Then why?" Alex asked confused disregarding Fahad's outburst.
"Who's Rebecca?" Aliya's voice questioned curiously bringing Fahad out of his bad mood and he looked at her embarrassed at his outburst remembering that was obviously also why she named him adorable beast.
"It's no one important " he stated raking his hand through his long outgrown curls.
"Oh! Okay if you say so" Aliya stated dismissing her confusion and thoughts.
"So tell me why do you want me to report Adam's movements and plans if it isn't because of her?" Alex asked again cutting Fahad nervous thoughts.
He finally took a breath to calm his raging heart that started when Aliya asked him about Rebecca and finally explained to Alex what's their motives and why after gaining permission to indulge it from Aliya who sat calmly staring at Alex as if it isn't her life trials that was being stated.
Alex sat there thunder struck after the revelation, his eyes dilated at the sheer horror one has to go through if one come to experience what Aliya did and he frantically look from Fahad to Aliya who have no emotion on her face to indicate any grief or the anguish she's in.
"So will you help me?" Aliya asked softly losing strength after hearing a tragic part of her life been repeated more than once.
"Of course I'll, since this idiot called me" Alex declared after composing himself as he stare at Aliya with an assured smile.
It isn't like he's a loyal dog to Adam so he has no reason to refuse as he won't lose anything from helping in the case, although he has to be careful as his own life also matter.
"Since everything is settled then I think we will be leaving now" Aliya declared getting up after the agreement on their plans in Alex's part, the rest also stood with her ready to leave but she was immediately stopped by Fahad's high pitched voice that sounded suprise and confused.
"This soon?" He asked blinking his large brown eyes at Aliya like a confused child.
'This guy really acts like a kid' she thought watching his face in amusement causing Yazeed to groan in disapproval.
"Awwn! Is my adorable beast intending to spend time with me?" Aliya asked teasing the flustered Fahad who realise the octave of his voice and blush furiously from embarrassment at Aliya's words although it really what's in his mind but he can't voice it out.
Alex lift his brow in suprise and amusement at the pet name Aliya called his cousin and seeing his expressive response he confirmed his cousin really has a thing for the yellow hazel eye girl who's only staring at his cousin like he's a shy puppy.
Aliya shook her head in disappointment and sigh dejectedly.
"Maybe sometime adorable but not today" she said ruffling his soft long outgrown curls that she has been itching to ruffle.
Yazeed locked eyes with the scene and his eyes darkened, he felt his heart constricted at the sight of affection displayed, he really envied Fahad for getting special treatment from Aliya and wished he's the one in his place.
Fahad sighed exasperatedly and nodded his head sadly pucking his lips in a pout to show his disappointment but Aliya only walked out leaving him lost and dazed in his living room like a lost puppy whose owner is nowhere to be seen.
He plumped down on the sofa and release another exasperated sigh pouting more than before and muttering under his breath with a dejected and annoyed look before he was brought out of his thoughts by his cousin unexpected question.
"You have something for that girl?".
