Chapter 5: The Pop Off Pt. 1

Eboni goes into the living room and see's Karlita on her phone

"Hey Kay can I see your phone right quick" Karlita looked at her like she had two heads

"For wah" In her ratchet voice

"Just let me see"

"NO"

"why not"

"Well if you take your hand and reach into your right pocket you will feel your phone in there" Karlita said putting on a fake smile

"Just let me see it" Eboni begged

"No"

"Pleeeeaaassseeeeeeeee" she pleaded

"OK GOSH JUST SHUT UP" Karlita handed her phone to Eboni with frustration "And Hurry up"

" I LOVE YOU TOO"

Eboni POV

I got the phone dang that girl is difficult. Anyways I went to her contacts and found Craig's Number all I wanted to do was get Chresanto number from Craig. The phone rang 3 times until some one answered it and boy did I get a surprise. I heard a female answer the phone. Maybe I was over analyzing the whole situation, or maybe I wasn't.

"Hello" I heard the girl say

"Uh hello who is this"

"Oh hell no you not gon call my man phone asking who is this, so how bout you tell me who are YOU."

I was so confused did I choose the right name in the phone I looked at the phone and It said Craig. "Uh never mind" I hung up a gave Kay her phone back and went to go lay down as I tried to make sense of what just happened. I know this nigga is not trying to play my cousin. Should I tell her maybe I should but all she is going to do is deny it.

5 weeks later

No ones POV

Today was just a regular Saturday and no one seemed to have no plans. Jacob invited everyone over to his house to hang out since his mom was gone for the day. Everyone was in his pool just chilling and playing around. Ebonie had kept her little phone conversation to her self. She looked over and saw Kay and Prodigy playing around and grabbing each other in the pool.

Eboni's POV

I still can't believe he he is playing my cousin I can't take this anymore gotta take action now. I looked at Roc and motioned him to come inside with me. Everyone looked at us in confusion but then went back to playing around. Chres and I went inside the house through the back door and closed the glass door behind us so no one could hear the conversation.

"What's going on Ebonie" Chresanto asked in a concerned tone

"Chesanto I gotta ask you a question"

"Damn you used my real name this must be serious"

"Is Craig cheating on my cousin"

"Whoa What. What type of question is this"

"Its a simple question" I said with a slight attitude

"Ok so your obviously feeling some type of way so I'm just gonna leave to let you chill out"

He started to walk back outside but I stopped him "Um i asked you a question"

"Yeah but now I'm dismissing your question now remove our hands off of me"

"Or what"

"Ebonie listen I don't have time for this BS "

"So its true"

"I didn't say that"

"THEN ANSWER THE QUESTION CHRES"

He looked around and then looked back at me he took a deep breath and then spoke with out trying to catch a complete attitude with me. "Look Ebonie I don't who you think you are yelling at but you betta tone it down". I looked him up and down like he had lost his mind I hope he don't think he's my daddy because he's not " And if I don't"

"Ebonie I......"

"The only thing I want to hear out your mouth is the answer to my fucking question" I was getting extra frustrated with this boy.

"IF YOU WANNA KNOW SO BAD WHY DON'T YOU ASK HIM YOURSELF"

"Because I'm asking" I stepped toward him and put my index finger to his temple "YOU"

"KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF ME THAT'S THE LAST TIME IMMA TELL YOU THAT TOO"

"It's just a simple question why can't you answer it"

"Because it's not in my place to answer such a question"

"OH please." I chuckled "Is that some kind of guy code"

""Yeah something like that" a small smirk appeared on his face which pissed me off

I walked close to him and put my index finger on his forehead and pushed it "You know what F......" Before I could finish my statement he grabbed my arms and looked straight into my eyes almost like he was looking into my soul. Yeah that's how pissed off he was.

"EBONI WHY YOU ACTING LIKE THIS" He spoke with anger never thought Roc Royal could get this mad. he seemed like a really chill person I guessed I pushed him to hard huh. Wait this fool still got me locked in his arms

"Chres let go of me you're squeezing my arms and it hurts"

Just then Karlita walked in with a confused looked on her face she looked at Chresanto then me then back at Chresanto who had let me go. "Uh is everything ok in here?' Kay asked in confusion

"NO EVERYTHING IS NOT OK" I yelled

"Eboni Stop " Chresanto said

"NO" I screamed

"JUST SHUT UP" He screamed back

Karlita covered her ears "Ok I am right here the screaming is unnecessary" By then everyone has walked inside the house all with that TF look on their face.

"NO" I screamed back at Roc

"Yo Roc what's going on" Ray Ray asked

"Man she about to make a big mistake" Chres Replied

"No I'm about save my cousin from heart ache" I said. Erica looked at Diggy while Kay looked at Prod and then looked at each other then back me.

"Eboni what are you talking about" Kay asked with interest

"Yeah what are you talking about" Jacob asked confused

"Oh you know exactly what I'm talking about you lying cheating son of a.."

"EBONI" Erica cut me off

"Let me just say this" I started "Craig Is playing you like a PlayStation 4 Kay" I looked at her and she looked at Craig who looked at me with pure hatred in his eyes. Karlita looked at Craig who was still looking at me I read his face like a book. I knew his exact thoughts. He hated me for telling his secret.

Ohhhhhh so Craig is playing Kay? Dang girl how you feel about that.
