Epilogue: Memories back then

KJs POV

"KJ can you help me with my homework." My little sister Kameryn asked.

I am now 21 years old and Kameryn is now 15. And we lived uncle Spin. 

"Uh yeah what do you need help with?" 

"My teacher is making us do a homework assignment on gentics and I chose to do White tiger, but I wouldn't have chosen it had I known it would be hella hard." 

I grabbed her binder and flipped to the  rubric, 'this is easy' I thought, I remeber my mom doing a project on the genetic abnormality of white tigers. Only resaon I remember is because she took me to see the white tigers at the zoo and was talking about some scientific stuffs while the show was going on. I eventually told her that she was talking much. I laughed at the face she gave me when I said that. Another reason I remember Is because she kept this box full of stuff on white tigers. Mom was truly obssesed with white tigers. 

"Hey I have something even better how about we take a small field trip." This is perfect timing because I've been meaning to take her to our old house, and now I can take her so she can go and roam through moms things to do her project. Well I don't have to take her but I mean why spend money on a zoo when mom had everything on white tigers. Well almost everything. 

"Where are we going?" She asked a little confused. 

"Just go and put your shoes and meet me in the car." I told her.

I left my room and headed towards Uncle Spin's room. "Hey Unc I'm about to take Kam someplace right quick we'll be back in a few hours." 

"Where you taking her?" He asked sitting up in his bed with one eyebrow arched in curiosity.

"The old house, I feel like the timings right." I responded

"You sure she's ready, I mean are you ready? " He asked .

"I mean I've already faced the fact that I watched my  mom die right in  front of my face. I'm pretty sure I can't handle going into the house."

"Yeah I guess you're right. Well go on but don't keep her out too late she has school the next morning."

"Oh look who sounds like a father." I laughed. 

"Lil nigga you better go on now." Uncle spin laughed as He threw a pillow at me and missed.  

I left out and headed out to the car to find Kameryn waiting. We headed off to the other side of town to were we used to live. It took at least and hour and half to get there. On the road Kam and I had time to catch up on life.

"So Kameryn do you have a boyfriend?"

"Damn KJ you just going to put it out there like that huh?" Kam laughed.

"I'm just trying to find out what's going on in your life."

"Well I do not have a boyfriend because uncle Spin said if I ever get one,he would shoot him in the head. And I knew  he was not joking."

I laughed at uncle spins threat because when it comes to his niece he doesn't play. My mom made him promise to take care of us and that's exactly what he is doing. Surprisingly he is doing a good job. I think the only thing that scares me about  him was the memory I had of him was when I walked into the house and saw him pointing a gun at my dad it didn't scare me at first because I was happy that my dad was at the house but as the days went on I grew angry as I replayed everything about that day in my head. I was mad at first, but after He explained to me Why He did it I understood. He didn't even kill my father my mom did, and mom killed him after He killed Diggy.
