Chapter Six

TAYLOR'S POV:

I froze at her question. I knew someday I'll have to tell them about my past, but I wasn't ready for this moment to come so soon.

"Uh.... Well, both of my parents were HYDAR agents, but they both died when I was about one year old. I don't know how they looked like or what were their names, I only know my mom's. Her name was also Taylor. They told me they named me after her because as a baby I looked just like her, so they thought that when I grow up it will be good for them to have two Taylors for missions and stuff". I said nervous. "They never showed me a picture of them even though I asked them to, so I just imagined my mom like me and my dad like a mix of some guards, because they were all I knew at that time".

"Oh Taylor, that's horrible" Wanda said putting her hand on my shoulder.

"It's ok" I answered, not noticing the tears that had left my eyes.

"I'm sorry to ask but, what are your powers? Were you born with them?" Natasha asked me softly.

"It's ok I don't mind, I have the powers of the elements, fire, wind, water and earth. No, I wasn't born with them, HYDRA started training me as soon as they could and decided to put me on the 'ice sleep' when I was seven. 59 years ago,
HYDRA found some energy source, and they decided to let me in it. When I got close enough I saw some big ball of light, but when I touched it everything went black. I woke up a few days later and they started training me for a few years, until I blew up their base by accident, so I was move to the base in Sokovia and was put on the 'ice sleep' again, until a few years ago they woke me up because you became a problem" I said to Natasha referring to the whole team "then they started to let Wanda train me, after that didn't work as well they moved me to the last base I was in, and now I'm here" I finished letting out a breath I didn't know I was holding as I tried to keep the more tears from falling out.

"Oh Taylor I'm so so sorry, I never should've asked about that, I'm sorry" Natasha said apologising to me.

"No no it's ok, at some point I would've told you that, better now then never" I said wiping the few tears that made it out again.

After a few moments of awkward silence, Wanda finally spoke "I have an idea if you want to know more about your parents and who they were. Only if you want."

I thought about it for a moment before agreeing to hear her idea.

"Ok, so we'll need to go down to Tony's lab to do some blood test that he wanted to do anyway, then we could find out more information about you, Tony can hack into HYDRA's system and find your file" Wanda suggested.

The thought about doing tests wasn't the nicest one, and Wanda and Natasha could see it on my face.

"We don't have to do it if you don't want to it if you're scared, we can always do it later it in a few days" Natasha said not wanting to make me uncomfortable.

"No it's ok, I want to do it" I said and we all walked to the lab.

NATAHSA'S POV:

We all walked down to the lab and I kept looking at Taylor every once in a while checking on her.

When we walked in we saw only Bruce there "Hey guys, what can I help you with?" He asked.
