" Okay , here you go ms.James and see you when it's time for your refill, have a great day." The lady told me

" you got what chu need ma?" August asked looking thru medicines/pills on the shelves.
" yep, what are you doing?" I asked
" reading stuff , you need some midol ?" He said holding it up toward my face
" what the.. No I don't need no damn midol, well not today anyways." I said
" what is it ?" He asked

" ew!" He said dropping the bottle
" oh August ." I said picking up the bottle and placing it back on the shelf.
"Come on before you get us kicked out." I said taking his hand and walking out the store.

We went upstairs and into his room.
" why you look like that ?" He asked my laughing
" because I'm wet and cold , feel like a homeless cat." I told him
" maybe it'll help it you took off the wet clothes." He said taking off his shirt.
" and wear what?" I said
" what you got on under your clothes duh , besides , it ain't like nobody except us. You good." He said coming out his closet on dry sweat pants.
I just stood there
" or you can't just stand there wet and cold." He said laying on his bed placing his hand behind his head.
" ugh close you eyes." I said
He closed them and I took off my pants and shirt.
" k, I'm finished ." I told him
" see that wasn't so bad. And you look chilled , it's not like it's a regular bra , more like a sport bra , so it's like your going to workout , just think of it like that ." He said
" yeah, yeah." I walked over to the bed and got on the side of him closer to the wall and got under the covers.
" you cold." He said laughing
" you know I'm cold 😑." I said eyeing him
" aww, come come." He said spreading his arm out. I moved closer and wrapped my arm around his torso.
"Your so warm.. Like really warm ." I said feeling all on him be to be sure.

August Pov
"Can I see your phone?" She asked out of nowhere
"Damn we ain't even together and you already tryna check me?" I said flippin through the channels.
" I'm not checking you, I just want to take pictures." She told me
"What's wrong with your phone?" I asked
"Nothing , I just want yours." She said
"That's what she said ." I told her smirking
"Dirty ." She said laughing
I reached over and grabbed my phone and handed it to her
After taking pictures of her self and deleting some and taking more she tried to get me to take some with her
"Nah, ma watch out tryna watch tv." I told her moving her arm
"Come on August ,take a pic with me." She whined
"No." I told her still flipping through the channel.
She grabbed the remote turned off the tv and sat on top of me
"What the f.. Yoooo!" I said
" you mad?" She said smirking
"Well now that you on top of me. My anger sudden when away." I said gripping her by the waist .
She smiled and snapped a pic of me .
"Bruhh come on,.😒" I said
"Okay okay ." She said laughing
" Can I have the remote back please cuz I was watching something?" I

She got off and handed me the remote.

I woke up around 7:30 I look over to see hazel on the side of me facing the wall covered up in all the cover. I guess my room was really cold. I sat up on the edge of the bed for a few seconds and then got up and went to the bathroom then downstairs.
"Yall finally awake I see." My mom said closing the refrigerator
"Yea, well one of us is. Hazel still knocked out." I said leaning on the counter
" So how is she taking the suspension ?" My mom said laughing
" ehh she getting around to it, before we went to sleep she told me he felt like a hobo because she should have been in school learning stuff instead of sleeping . Then earlier while we was eating breakfast she said she can feel her smart brain cells slowly dying which meant she was slowly progressing into a delinquent ." I told her shaking my head
At that point my mom was dying
"Aww poor baby, she's so sweet and innocent ." My mom said
" she wasn't innocent that day ." I said grabbing a water from the refrigerator.
" ohh hush up boy." She said walking out the kitchen
" I need to get her up so I can take her home , I'll come get chu before we leave ." I told my mom walking up stairs.
