What Happened ?

I woke at 7:59 just in time to see my mom leave for work.
" remember to pick up your medicine at*gco
"12:30 mom I got it ." I said grabbing a apple from the dish
" ok love you bye ." She said rushing out the door
I went up stairs to take a shower since I didn't have nothing school and I was bore I decided to dye the bottom half of my hair green. Afterward I blow dried it and straighten it.
When I finished it was 8:59. Right as I was about to sit down on my bed the door bell rung.
Really😐, I thought to myself.
I went downstairs and looked though the peephole on my tippy toes and then opened the door.
"Hay you." I said looking at August
"You colored your hair?" He said walking in
"Yeah." I told him closing the door
"I guess you really are a morning person , what time did you have to get up?" He asked
"I got up right at 7:59 ." I told him
"Mmhm." He said sitting in my bed
"See I would have been here sooner or at 8:30 ish like I told you but .. I you know ." He told me
"You hungry ?" I asked
"Why , whatchu cooked ?" He asked
" nothing." I told him
"...... If you didn't cook why would you ask ." He said laughing
"Because it's the polite thing to do, I mean but I could if you're hungry , because I'm hungry." I told him
" well we can just go get something to eat." He told me
"That'll work to , I just gotta change clothes." I said going into my closet .
"Well I'll be downstairssssss." He said dragging the s while walking out the door.
I put on my clothes and other stuff and went downstairs. I locked up and we left.
" nice car." I said looking around while putting on my seat belt
" appreciate it . He said
" So like what you don't wear seatbelt or something." I asked looking at him
" uhh I guess you could say that." He told me focusing the road.
" You know that's dangerous ,and you could get a ticket , and if you were to get in a bad car accident you could possible die." I told him
He looked at me smiled looked back at the road
" my whole lifestyle is dangerous ." He said smirking
" what does that mean ? What are you like a drug dealer or assassin ?" I asked
" nope." he said
" then what does that mean?" I asked
" ehh. Can't explain it ." He said
" soo like you have a gun or something ?" I said looking around the car floors and stuff .
"Nah, ion need one." He told me
"Why not , don't all dude like to have a gun ?" I asked
"Ehh. Sure why not." He told me
"So why don't you have one?" I asked again
"You know ,you ask a lot of questions." He said
"I know, and you should answer them ." I said raising my brows
"I don't need a gun because I don't need one. I handle myself well, if I do say so myself. Have I held one shot one and I have good ass aim, but do I own one . No I do not, end of gun talk." He told me looking at me
"Oh okay then. That's all you had to say." I said pulling out my phone .
I took a pic of him while he was driving.
"Why ?" He said not looking at me
"Why what?"I said acting innocent
"You taking off guards of a nigga." He said
"Because you look cute driving , plus I can show people how you don't wear seatbelts." I said taking a selfie
"And this one to show that's I do because I like my freedom and I know the laws of the street." I told him
I put the two pics in a collage and saved it. Afterwards I sent it to him.
He pick up the phone and looked at it while driving. He kinda scared me considering the fact that while he was looking at the pic not once did he look up to check the road.
"Uhh. August, the road." I said looking at him then back at the road.
"Those pose to be your duck lips or sum?" He asked putting down his phone and finally looking back at the road.
"Yeah, you like?"I said
" yeah , especially when they are against mine." He said smirking pulling into the restaurant parking lot.

" a little bit." I told him
He pushed me higher then walked in front of me
" now jump off." He said
" what ?!" I said
" jump , imma catch you ." He said
" you sure ?" I asked
" yea, you trust me ?" I asked
I kicked my feet so I could go a little higher and let go of one chain. I closed my eyes and jumped.
I landed in his arms Bridal style.
It was so weird why he caught me because he didn't struggle or nothing, he caught me as if was light like a feather . I mean I am short but still.
" you good ?" He said putting me down
" I should be asking you that , mr. Strong " I said
" light weight baby ." He said
" what does that mean?" I said fixing my clothes
" your not heavy , well to me, can't say for everybody else ." He said
" maybe your on steroids ." I said walking to the slide.
" if I was on steroids I wouldn't be able to fit in this Damn shirt." He told me

August Pov

" true, so what you go to the gym a lot ?" She asked me sitting at the top of the slide positioning herself
" I guess so . Sure lets go with that ." I said shrugging
I stood at the bottom of the slide and waited for her to come down. She slid down and stopped at my leg
" how's the weather down there?" I asked
" why don't you come find out ." She told me
I squatted down to her level
" pretty low ." I said
She grabbed my face and putting me in and kissed me
" how bout know?" She asked smiling
" ehh." I said
" oh whatever." She said pushing my back
" I'm just playing ma." I said laughing and pushing her back onto the slide. I hovered over her while holding myself by my hands and kissed all over her face making her laugh.
" August Stop. You feel like a puppy." She told me laughing
"Everybody likes puppy tho." I said still kissing her
"Ewwww, kissing ." A little kid said
Hazel started laughing hiding her face in my neck
" aren't you two suppose to be in school or something ?" The little girl parent said with an attitude
" ain't you suppose to be minding your fucking business ?!" I said getting up
" August !!!" Hazel said slapping my arm
"My bad ma, I'm sorry sir I told Hazel then looking at him
" learn to respect your elders boy , don't make no damn sense ." He said
" look I said sorry, don't push it na." I told him
"Is that a threat !?" He yelled getting only face
"Na it's a promise , don't fuck with me nigga !" I said
"Come on August , let's go." Hazel said pulling my arm try a take me to the car but I was budging.
" Try something lil nigga if you want to and I'll lay yo ass out !" He said
I felt my anger boiling and I felt my whole body get hot and low growls started to come up. My fist were bawled up and everything.
"Hay hay hay, August look at me!" Hazel said stepping in front of me and getting in the view of him
When I seen her face my body started to relax, and I started to calm down.
" come on ." She said grabbing my hand and dragging me to the car.
" are you okay now?" She asked standing in front of me while I leaned on the car
" yeah." I said
