"Good to have you back ms. James , my class was dead without you." My math teacher said
" good to be back." I said quietly taking my seat
" aye , Hazel I heard you went into a two day comma because couldn't breathe." A boy next to me said
" I thought it was because Terri stabbed you and you lose a lot of blood." I girl said two seats over
" what , no I wasn't in a comma and nobody stabbed me ." I told them pulling out my headphones and plugging my ears

" hay Hazel ." A girl said walking to me at my locker
" umm hay, Miranda right ?" I asked
" yeah, so how long were you kept in jail , oo was it like orange is the new black , did you have an Alex in there? Did they have a lot of Boo's in there , they try to take your vagina cherry juice ?!" She asked looking worried
" Whaa? I - I didn't go to jail , I don't have an Alex and no boo's tried to take my vagina cherry juice .. I fought had a mini asthma attack and went with my mom to work . That's all ." I said closing my locker and walking away annoyed .
{End of the day }

" Hazel Girl!!" I heard while at my locker
" what is the story now ? I said turned around very annoyed
" oh , hay guys ." I said realizing it was Chris Maya and August
" Damn, what we do ?" Chris said
" are you ok ? You on your period ?" Maya asked leaning in on the last part
" no I'm not on my.. Period .. I'm just annoyed .. All day everybody been asking my was I in commas and how long was I in jail and were my stab wound.. One girl asked me was jail like orange is the new black and did I have an Alex and did any boo's try to take my vagina cherry Juice !!" I told
" vagina cherry juice !!" They all said unison
" yeah." I said grabbing my purse and closing my locker
" what is that suppose to be ?" August asked
" her virginity obviously ." Maya said
" oh. Well we all know that belongs to August ." Chris said
"Chris what the hell is wrong with you mane ." August said shaking his head
" I can't with you people right now , I need ice cream, can we get ice cream guys?" I said
" sure , but let me go get my gym bag from the locker room." Chris said
" babe, you coming ?" He smirking at Maya and Chris walked away fast almost running down the hall tryna get to the locker room.. Nasties
" whelp . They gon be awhile ma, might as well wait in the front." August said wrapped his arm around me and we started to walk to the front
"So about this vagina cherry juice ." He said laughing
"Omg stop it sounds so weird,like me vagina is like... Full of cherry juice or some type of disease." I told him
"Well, that's what you said ." He told me
"Yeah but that didn't mean for you to repeat it August." I said entwining my fingers with his hand that was over my shoulder.
"Well you don't have no Alex but we all know you got an August. And I hope you ain't got no Boo's I got to fight off." He said looking at me
"Yes I do have an August . And I hope not , imma have to buy some boo repellent." I said which made us both laugh while walking down the empty hallway.
We sat on the bench outside in front of the school laughing and talking.
" I'm serious. She threaten this one dude so bad he started crying . His mom came to our house tryna press charges and stuff." I told him
" Dang , well sucks for him ." He told me
"I guess , but I mean you shouldn't be worried." I said
" I never was ." He told me
" what's that suppose to mean?" I said turning my whole body toward him
" nothing Hazel ." He said smiling
We stared at each other for a few secs before leaning in and kissing.
" sorry for the interruption but.." We heard.
We turned to see Maya and Chris holding hands looking at us smiling
" You two should be the last to talk." August said getting up
" exactly." I said standing beside him
" Whatever. Let's go eat and get ice cream." They said walking out
August grabbed me hand and we walked after them.
Me and Maya sat in the back and took pics while Chris and August was in the front talking bout boy stuff.
" oh that ones really cute send that to me." Maya said pulling out her phone.
" that's all y'all do is take pics all day." Chris said looking in the mirror at us.
" oh shut up . Yall take pictures too." Maya told him
" he not talking bout us he talking bout yall tho ." August said
"August don't act like I ain't got pics of you in my phone." I told him waving my phone in the air
" yeah because you stole them and took off guards and wouldn't leave me alone about it." He told
" yeah but I got em tho , didn't I ." I said smiling
Everybody laughed as Chris pulling out to the parking lot.
