Agent walker, who's real name was Jay walker. stood at his desk looking at the stack of paperwork that lay before him, he sighed in annoyance. he would rather be playing video games with-... himself, since he didn't have anyone else. it always felt weird but he tried not to question it, he didn't want to repeat the panic attacks he had encountered for the past 3 months. for some reason he felt his powers glitching, nobody even knew he HAD powers! he had kept them a secret.
he tapped his fingers on the table subconsciously, his ADHD had gotten worse since the panic attacks. he never knew why, yet for some reason he felt as though his powers were getting drawn to something. something far away. they looked back up to the table and groaned, paperwork sucked. so he got up and looked around, everything was calm now. he heard there was a break in or something? by a bunch of people in colorful clothing. he shook the thought off as he walked down a hallway, he nodded to people passing by, some he knew and some he didn't. administration was so big he probably could never meet everyone even if he used up his hole life in administration. he looked around and saw hundreds maybe even thousands of people working on paperwork. it kind of felt depressing, sitting and working all day. like a cycle, wake up, eat ,work ,sleep and then repeat it all again.
like some weird never ending pattern, Jay shuddered at the though. and tried to keep walking, he walker around for a few more minutes before giving up and getting back to his desk. as he sat down he felt a buzz on his hands. As he looked down they saw their hands glowing with electric energy, but something felt different. before he could even move, a blast of lightning shot out and hit the wall. when Jay looked back up he saw that the lighting had created an image on the wall. it looked like a map. it had a lightning bolt in the center that pointed east, he touched it in awe, this had never happened before, as he touched it the image shrunk into a little golden compass. he squeezed it and it jumped back into a map. Jay's mind was swirling with questions, he felt dizzy but managed to refrain from falling.
he knew one thing though, his powers wanted him to go somewhere, find something.
he didn't know this yet but, he would find more that just what was wrong with his powers. he would find memories, answers about himself. and most importantly
he would find an old friend
