do i know you?

⚠️GORE WARNING!!!

Jay and the other boy stood staring at each other, neither knowing what to do. for different reasons, finally Jay broke the silence " do-.. do i know you?" immediately the other boys face fell, "haha very funny jay, you can stop joking" the man said getting closer "i'm serious, i don't know you" Jay replied "Jay its me, Cole"

Jay spun the name in his head trying to place it "i'm sorry you must have confused me for someone else" the brunette said shrugging, the raven haired boy edged closer " do you... really don't remember me?" he said tears forming in his eyes, he grabbed Jay's  arms softly. "do you remember anyone? Kai? Zane? Lloyd? Nya?!" he said his voice cracking "i-... i hav no idea who these people are" Jay said tilting his head to the side. the black haired boys breathing got heavy, Jay felt weird to this boy, like he does know him but doesn't at the same time.

"you don't remember anything? what about you? do you remember being the blue ninja?" he asked "blue ninja?" Jay felt Cole's arms hold his, " blue ninja... i think i-" Jay felt memories float around in his head. things he knew but could not reach. something so close, yet not close enough. like a taunting dream,  "i think i-" before Jay could finish his sentence the floor under them cracked and slit open, "what the hell?!" Cole yelled out. bits and pieces of the earth floated upwards, Jay grabbed on to the rocks to regain his balance.

he felt like this had happened before, like he had seen this before, like deja vu. -scary deja vu- "JAY!" Cole cried out reaching for his best friend, Jay reached out too but the earth cracked under Cole and his foot slipped. luckily he held onto a tree root sticking out the side of the earth. Jay reached his hand out to help him " grab on!" he yelled, Cole stretched his hand out and grabbed Jay's. "don't let go!" "gee thanks i had no idea!" Cole said joking

as Jay pulled him up he heard a 

CRACK!

when he turned around he saw his little floating island braking "oh shit". Jay looked at Cole down before saying "hope you have health insurance, because this is gonna hurt"

when he finished saying that the island broke and they both fell, tumbling to the ground. they landed hard on the ground, Jay slowly opened his eyes and saw Cole lying down next to him, scratches and cuts on his arms and face. Jay looked at his awn arms and noticed they were bloody, he pt his hand to his head and felt a gush of blood dripping down his head.

Cole looked at him and then at his hands, Jay felt scared and confused at the same time. yet he couldn't help but laugh. "i have no idea how we're still alive!" Jay said laughing harder each second "it makes no sense!" slowly Cole started to chuckle, then laugh and finally both of them were back to back laughing.

even if you don't remember me Jay, i promise, no. i SWEAR i'll make you remember. i swer on my life.

and there is another chapter! my ideas fro this chapter took a while to form, so i'm sorry if it sucked :(
