Ben Tennyson in Poppy Playtime

Chapter 3: Part 5

Ben let out a girl scream as he woke up. He started breathing deeply and loud. He looked at himself and sighed in relief that he's a human again. He starts thinking of what the Smiling Critters said in his nightmare.

"Before I become a Ruined Critter? What does that mean?" Ben asked himself. He found a gas mask. He found more red mist but he now knows what it does to him.

"Here goes nothing." Ben said as he put on the mask. He walked through the red mist. He jumped to the second floor.

"I don't see anymore red mist." Ben said under the mask. He decided to keep it on just in case. He looked through the broken bedrooms then he saw a big, tall, purple, and looks like a cat. Ben gasped.

"It's Catnap!" Ben whispered under the mask. Good he keeps the mask on. He looked around and he heard something broke. He touched the left side of his chest feeling his heartbeat. It was beating rapidly. He started panting under the mask.

"Oh no, I'm panicking! Stay calm, Ben! Just stay calm! I need... I need... a support toy." Ben said to himself. Ben grasped as he realized when he said support toy.

"Daisy! I shouldn't have left her there!" Ben said. He tries to find the exit. Instead he found Kissy Missy in one of the rooms.

"Kissy? Thank god, you're here! Remember me? You opened the door for me." Ben said under the mask. She didn't reacted.

"She probably fell asleep by Catnap. Poor thing. Don't worry, I'll be back." Ben said under the mask. He continues walking, he saw worn out buck beds. He saw a statue of a Smiling Critter.

"Don't worry, I'll help all of you." Ben said. He noticed the statue was moving when ever he moves

"Is it following me?" Ben said. Ben took the battery and crawled into the vents. He decided to take off the mask because he started to sweat under there. He puts in the battery and continues looking around.

With his iPhone on flashlight in his hands, he looks around. He found a room filled with red mist. He puts the mask back on and started walking into it. He crawled through the vents and grabbed the second battery. He puts it in and pressed the button. He took off the mask.

"No! Stop!"

"What the?" Ben said. The voice was coming from the security cameras. The voice was non other than Ben. It showed him lying on the floor with his eyes closed. He was screaming and crying. He had his hands up scratching the air and kicking his legs.

"Get me outta here! Why am I a Smiling Critter?!" Prerecorded Ben shouted.

"Is that me when I was sleeping? Geez, I never knew I could sleep tantrum." Ben said. He exits the building and saw Daisy.

"Daisy!" Ben said. Daisy meowed and then someone attacked him from behind.

"Kissy?" Ben said.

"No! Don't hurt him! Ben is here to help!" Poppy said.

She got off of Ben. Kissy puts Poppy on her shoulder. And Daisy went on Ben's shoulder.

"You need an explanation, follow me." Poppy said.

"What happened in there?" Mommy asked.

"I'll explain later." Ben said.
