Ben Tennyson in Poppy Playtime

Chapter 3: Part 13

"Dead?! No, he can't be! His eyes are still open!" Mommy said.

"People die with their eyes open sometimes." Dogday said.

Daisy went over to inspect Ben's corpse. She lift his hand to pet her but his hand falls off her head. She starts shaking his head.

"Ben! Please, wake up!" Daisy meowed. Ben didn't move a single muscle. Daisy broke down to tears. Her meow cries made everyone tear up.

"He sacrificed himself to save me. He is a hero." Catnap said. They Catnap got an idea.

"Everyone, back up." Catnap said. They backed up and Catnap started absorbing red mist from Ben.

"What are you doing?" Dogday asked.

"I learned how to absorb my red mist. And by doing that it can heal wounds." Catnap said.

"I didn't know you can do that." Dogday said.

"My god gave me this power." Catnap said. Catnap continued absorbing. Ben's blood started sucking up back into his body and the stabbed wounds started covering up. He slowly starts breathing again. His blinked and looked around as his vision came back to him.

"Catnap?" Ben asked.

"Baby! You're alive!" Mommy said.

"Since you saved me, I had to return to favor." Catnap said. Ben smiled and noticed his other wounds healed. He took off the bandage and removed the bandage wrap on his leg. He noticed a scar on his leg but he didn't mind.

"Oh, Ben. Poppy gave me this and told me that it belongs to you." Mommy said. She pulled out a watch but it was fixed.

"My Omnitrix! It's finally fixed!" Ben said. He put it on his wrist and smiled.

"I'm back." Ben said. They went back to the gas production machine. They noticed the Smiling Critters were turning it on.

"Wow! You guys turned it on!" Ben said. They noticed Catnap and hugged him.

"I missed you guys." Catnap said. CraftyCorn started communicating with Ben.

"Are you saying that this machine can turn you guys back into your original plushie state?" Ben said. She nodded. They get into the machine and Ben turned it on. It caused Ben to turn into Tentails. All the Smiling Critters were back to normal.

"Thank you, Tentails. I think you need to hear the whole story." Catnap said.

You see, the ninth Smiling Critter is my sister, SleepyKitty. She got sick with poison one day then sadly passed. Then my god, I mean Prototype. Told me that he can help me revive my sister, but it turns out to be a lie. Once I accept his offer, he took control of me and turned me into a monster. But I tried to help my friends when they were getting killed by Miss Delight, Prototype told me not to. Then he forced me to torture Dogday.

"I'm very sorry." Catnap said. Ben smiled and hugs him. Then his necklace started to glow. It became a Omnitrix necklace.

"This new alien has been added to your playlist." The Omnitrix said in a female voice.

"I guess Tentails is one of my aliens now." Ben said. He pressed the button and turned back into a human.

"We're going to rebuild our home." Bobba Bubbaphant said.

"Yeah, let's make it even better!" KickinChicken said.

"Ooh! I want to paint it!" CraftyCorn said.

"I love that idea!" Bobby Bearhug said.

"Can we buy more food?" PickyPiggy said.

"I wanna help!" Hoppy Hopscotch said.

"Are you coming, old friend?" Dogday asked Catnap.

"I want to help Tentails, I created him after all." Catnap said.

"Is that okay with you, Angel?" Dogday asked.

"I would like that." Ben said. Catnap went on Ben's right shoulder. Daisy meowed with happiness on his left shoulder.

"I'll be back, I need to avenge my sister." Catnap said. They left and Poppy came out of the vents.

"I found the answer to what happened to the employees" Poppy said.

"Really?" Ben said.

"We called it The Hour Of Joy." Poppy said. Poppy put the tape into the VCR and Ben started watching it.

"They're all dead?" Ben said.

"I watched it happen, it was a terrible memory." Poppy said as she started to cry.

"I'm very sorry." Ben said.

"The Prototype has to die." Poppy said as Kissy came up to her. They went to the elevator. Catnap and Mommy felt guilty about what they did to those poor people.

"Will you do the honors, Ben?" Poppy asked.

Ben pulled the lever and then they heard screaming.

"Oh no! Kissy!" Poppy said. Ben twisted the Omnitrix and selected Tentails.

"It's hero time."
