Ben Tennyson in Poppy Playtime

Chapter 3: Part 12

Ben got up from his dream. He touched his cheek and it was wet. His eyes were covered with tears. Ben curled up into a ball and started to snuffling.

"What if I fail?" Ben sobbed. He breaks into more tears as he cries. He puts his face against his knees as his cries became louder.

"Tentails?" Dogday asked.

"You okay, sweetheart?" Mommy asked. He looked up at them with tear stains making his cheeks red.

"I-I'm scared." Ben said. Mommy hugged him to comfort him.

"It's okay, we have your back." Mommy said. Ben wipes the tears away and smiled. They went and connected the statue, Ben got the battery and the four of them went to the gas production zone.

He put the battery in, and the door opens.

"You!" Catnap said.

"Catnap! Listen to me!" Ben said. He took the elevator up and started looking around. Catnap starts walking towards him.

"Hello, Tentails. Let's play cat and mouse, and YOUR IT." Catnap said. He started chasing him. Ben runs around the area and they finally stopped.

"Catnap stop! Prototype is just using you! When he gets what he wants, he'll kill you!" Ben shouted.

"Liar! God will never do that!" Catnap argued back.

"Here! I have proof!" Ben said as he pulls out the phone and shows the video to Catnap.

"Right after he's dead, I need to kill one more toy, Catnap." Prerecorded Prototype said.

"No! How can he betray me?!" Catnap said.

"Catnap, old friend." Dogday said.

"Dogday?" Catnap asked.

"Tentails is trying to save you, he is trying to save us." Dogday said.

"He's right, he saved me even though I tried to hurt him. He helped me change my ways. He can do that for you too." Mommy said.

"Catnap, I know you're good deep down. Let me help you." Ben said.

"How can I trust you?" Catnap asked.

"You don't need to trust me right away, but I trust you." Ben said.

"Please, come back. We miss you." Dogday said. Black tears started coming out of Catnap's eyes. He went over and hugged Dogday.

"I-I missed you too! I'm sorry, I'm so very sorry, well you forgive me, old friend?" Catnap said.

"Always." Dogday said.

Ben smiled then he saw a hand.

"Catnap! How dare you learned about the truth! Come back or I will do the same thing that I did with your sister!" Prototype said.

"You were the one who poisoned my sister?! I'll never go back with you!" Catnap argued back with Dogday in his arms.

"Fine, be like that." Prototype said.

The prototype was about to strike. Catnap hugs Dogday tighter. Ben immediately took off his GrabPack and ran over there. When Catnap and Dogday opened their eyes, they saw blood splatter on them. They looked up in horror.

Prototype has stabbed Ben in his chest. Ben turned his head to them with blood coming out of his mouth.

"Catnap, we have your ba..." Ben said. The prototype dung his fingers deeper causing Ben to gasped. His body falls limp and his eyes remain wide open as a single tear dropped. The prototype drops him and he went back up.

"Tentails?" Dogday asked.

"Ben? Sweetie, are you okay?" Mommy asked.

Catnap checked his pulse.

"He's... dead." Catnap said.
