You wake up and see the familiar blue walls. You look around your room and sigh. You stand and look through your house to find Alastor, but you only find a not on the fridge.

Good morning, y/n,

I am getting some things from Hell to bring over to you. I will be back shortly. Most likely around ten.

Alastor

You look at the time. 9:30 am. You decide to take a shower and get changed. When you walk back into the kitchen, you find Alastor making breakfast. He's dressed in a long sleeve button up shirt, grey dress pants with suspenders, and a black tie with a red upside-down cross.

You walk over to him and find eggs and bacon. "Alastor, you really don't have to make me breakfast."

"Nonsense, you can't have a proper day without a proper breakfast."

"Fair."

"And you're never fully dressed without a smile." He says as he uses one hand to place a smile on your face. You laugh in return. "That's more like it." You walk away smiling and shaking your head. You sit on the couch and pull out your computer. You published new chapters on your book and the views were skyrocketing. (Thanks, by the way! I hope you're all enjoying it!) You look at your phone and notice some texts from Dylan.

I was reading the book, and it seems like the conversation we had was very similar to the one that's on here.

I read more of it and are you sure it's not about me?

Why aren't you answering?

Where have you been?

Where are you?

Is your phone broken?

What's going on?

I really think this character is about me. You sigh at the messages. You look at the last one. That's because he is. You think to yourself. You close your computer and place your head in your hands. Alastor walks over and crouches in front of you. "Everything alright, dear?" You nod. "Just tired."

"I know there's more. What are you not telling me?"

"Alastor, I'm fine. I don't need you to worry about me."

"It's my job."

It's my job. You remember Dylan say. "No. No, it- it's not. I can take care of myself."

"Darling, take some breaths, and hand me your phone." You place it in his and he sits on the ground, going through your messages. "I'm sorry." You say, brining your knees up to your chest. "Don't apologize. Show me this book of yours." You go to the app and show him the book. "What is he talking about the character or conversation?" You open the chapter and go to the part where you write about the dream. He reads it and looks at you. Your eyes start to tear up. "What was this about?"
