Chapter Forty

Allegra Genova POV

I was sitting in this beautiful restaurant and I just wished I could get away from there, everyone either hated me or tolerated me because of Alek. Speaking of Alek, those words he said to me, Moyo koroleva, keep replaying in my head the whole ride to this restaurant and also now. I looked at him and gave him a vague smile. I know I have heard or read these words before.

"What do you want moyo koroleva?" Alek said. I wanted to throw up, like literally.

"Order me whatever I need to go to the bathroom" I said and quickly got up from my seat and ran to the bathroom. I locked the door and threw up in the toilet. I hate throwing up, it makes me feel even more sick and it's not the best feeling as well. I then heard a knock on the door.

"Is everything ok?" Jacob asked me and I got up and cleaned myself. I then opened up the door and he was looking at me with a concerned look.

"No" I said and felt tears filling my eyes.

"I can't live like this, I don't want to live with him. I pretended to be all fine and nice to him but I can't. I don't love him and I want to be free, I don't want to live with him for the rest of my life" I said and cried, he hugged me and I felt the tears just rolling and rolling.

"Where is this all coming from, I just saw you kissing him a few hours ago" He said and I looked at him.

"What was I supposed to do? My mom told me what he used to do with her when she didn't want to do something with him, I did not like it, it just felt so wrong" I said and he nodded his head. I did not lie, it felt so wrong.

"Please help me get out of here, I don't want to be his wife nor his prisoner" I said and he took a few steps back, away from me.

"I can't, I would get killed and I can't betray my boss like that" He said and I bit my lip and swallowed my pride. I got down on my knees and looked down on the floor.

"Please I am begging you, I can't stay here, I can't raise my future kids here. I beg you" I said and he looked hesitant at me. I needed to get out of there before he noticed I am pregnant with his brother's child. It's either running away or plan B and I really don't want to do plan B.

"Allegra get the fuck up, you look pathetic, I cant help you and I wont" He said and I felt crushed. He was about to leave but I grabbed him and looked at him.

"Please" I said and he looked at me for a second before he just walked away from me. I just cried. I can't be with him, he is going to kill me and my child, my baby. I got up and fixed myself before walking back to the table. I sat beside Alek and the others looked at me.

Jacob looked at me and then looked at Dimitri who was sitting right next to him, he then whispered something and they both got up and walked away. After a very very long time the waiter came with our food and then put a plate in front of me, it was just salad. I looked at Alek and he was smiling. Dimitri and Jacob walked back and sat at their places, they looked at me.

"You have been eating so much, I think you need to cut off carbs and you need to start eating less" He said and I just gave him a smile.

"Thank you" I said and he just gave me a big smile, he looked proud. After that kiss we had, I knew if I stayed any longer here I would either get killed or just get beaten up until I become one of those robot wifes that listens to every word her husbands say.

"I know it's her birthday and all that but we need to go home right now. I need to tell you something" Dimitri said and I looked so confused, what was he talking about? Something is not adding up.

Two days later

It has been really quiet. Alek has not been in the house for two days and the others have just ignored me. So when I decided to go down to the living room and found Alek, Dimitri, Jacob, Ivan, Lev and Isaak talking and almost shouting got me really scared. They all stopped talking and looked at me, I was almost standing next to them. I looked at Alek and he was furious. He walked up to me, grabbed me by my wrist and dragged me to where they were standing. He then slapped me, really hard.
