Chapter Fifty

Allegra Genova POV

What the fuck did I just do?

No, because what the hell did I do? I slowly removed the cover off my body and looked over to my side to see him still sound asleep. I cursed at myself and made sure I got out of the bed slowly so I wouldn't wake him up. I sat on the edge of the bed and looked over my shoulder and saw him still sleeping. I let out a relieved breath and stood up and put on my nightgown and robe, I turned around and saw him stir around in his sleep. I froze up and stayed in my place. I carefully turned around and tiptoed to the door. As I went to pull on the doorknob I heard a voice.

"Allegra... where are you going?" He said in his raspy voice. I nervously chuckled.

"To the bathroom, I didn't want to wake you up" I said and turned around to face him and he was just looking at me.

"You know you are a bad liar, always been one. Good trait to be honest" He said and got up from the bed. He was in his boxers, his hair a mess a result from yesterday's actions.

"Me lying? Never" I said and chuckled lightly. He gave me a look and I sighed.

"Fine I lied" I finally said and he chuckled a bit. I looked as he went and put on some pajamas that were thrown on the floor.

"I get it, you are re-thinking the decisions you took yesterday" He said and looked at me and gave me a small smile.

"It's not that... I just didn't expect I would actually do it with you, you know... given the things we went through and all that shit" I said and looked down and he walked up to me and placed his fingers on my chin and gently pulled it up so I would look at him.

"You know it's ok if you regret it... I would understand. The things I hid from you and lied to. It's not that easy to forget and move on and trust me when I say this, I will be here for as long as you want. I will wait for you until you feel comfortable with me again, until I regain your trust, until you can love me again. I will be here even if you still hate me. I will be here no matter what" He said and I was just looking at him as he cupped my face.

"I lied about a lot of stuff but never about how much I love you. Ever since I laid my eyes on you I knew I loved you. Ever since you told me and Antonio off" He continued and I chuckled.

"I loved you even if you did kill some of my men. I loved you from the beginning until now, through the whole way and nothing will change that, my dragotsennyy" He said and I just smiled. I looked him in his eyes and was speechless.

"This could've been avoided" I said and he sighed and nodded. He lets go of my face and looks down.

"I know... I know and I am sorry, I really am. I lost you, our baby. I screwed up our future and everything... I am sorry" He said and I caressed his cheek and he looked at me with a glimmer of hope in his eyes and I smiled at him.

"I already told you I forgave you, let's not dwell on the past" I said and he smiled at me and his eyes were full of hope and excitement.

"So... are you willing to give me a second chance?" He asked me and I smiled and nodded.

"I think I am ready to give this another shot" I said and his smile grew wider and picked me up and twirled us around. I chuckled and he slowly put me down and kissed my cheek.

"I won't let you down, I will make sure everything is perfect. That everything goes perfect because you deserve nothing but perfection" He said and kissed my cheek again. I smiled and took his hand.

"I think it's time that Nora and Alex knew the truth, don't you think?" I said and he looked nervous.

"Yeah, yeah. But I am scared... what if they hate me?" He said and held my hands tight and I smiled.

"They love you, trust me" I said and he nodded.

We sat Alex and Nora on the couch while we were in front of them. Dimitri was nervous and scared and you could see it from his face. I took a deep breath and let it out and looked at them both.

"So... munchkins we have something important to say" I said and they looked at us with a curious look.

"I just want you two to know that your dad Edward loves you so so so much and he adores you two a lot" I said and they looked at each other.

"But he isn't your biological father... Dimitri is" I said and looked at them and waited for their reaction and they just smiled at each other and I looked at Dimitri confused.

"We knew" Alex said and I looked at them confused, so did Dimitri.

"What?" He asked them and they both stood up.

"I mean we got moms brains so we had picked a few stuff up and connected the dots" Nora said and smiled.

"Like Nora's birthmark, the blond hair and the eyes" Alex said and I was just shocked.

"And you're fine with it?" Dimitri asked and they nodded.

"We love daddy but we also knew it wasn't him and we are now happy to know who our real dad is" Nora said and hugged him and Dimitri was shocked and hugged him back.

"You guys are scary smart..." I muttered and looked at them and Alex chuckled and hugged Dimitri. It was a cute moment, to look at them hugging Dimitri and him holding them and hugging them back tightly.

Six months later

The past six months have been so perfect. We were like a family and I loved it. Every minute of the day I was happy and always smiling or laughing. Me and Dimitri have been closer than we ever had before and we decided to marry each other. He made the most beautiful proposal ever and we decided to make a little wedding, a one for us and only us. My family and our friends are only there and no one else. It was perfect and simple, just how we wanted it.

I was standing in front of the mirror and was looking at myself. I was now two months pregnant and this time I knew everything would be different. Dimitri came behind me and laid his head on my shoulder and looked at us. He placed his hands on my stomach and I smiled at him.

"You are the light of my life, the mother of my children and now my wife. You don't understand how happy I am" He said and kissed my cheek and I smiled. Nora and Alex came running into our room and started to jump on our bed.

"Movie time! Movie time!" They both said in union and we laughed. We decided that everyone in our family should take a day off and we all should watch a movie in our little home cinema.

"Alright, alright. Lets go and watch a movie" Dimitri said and picked them both up and we went to the home cinema and I saw everyone there with their own popcorn, drinks and snacks.

"Alright guy! What movie should we watch?" I asked and everyone started to bicker and argue on the movie and I just smiled and looked at my family. Dimitri put the twins in the chair and handed them popcorn and drinks.

"Thanks dad" They both said and he smiled.

"No worries my cuties" He said and kissed their cheeks. My dad stood next to me and smiled. We just watched our family argue with each other about the movie and I laid my head on my dads shoulder and smiled.

"Every single step I took was worth it, every decision, every mistake and every pain we went through was worth it" My dad said and I hummed in agreement.

"It really was" I said and saw how they were now laughing and smiling with each other as they decided on a movie.

"Alright the decision is made!" Antonio yelled and I chuckled a bit.

My dad was right. This was worth the pain.
