"I see you managed to return to the world of the living." Macaque said, emerging from the girl's shadow. The girl smiled. The mayor appeared next to her.
"I was hoping you would help me with this, but as you can see, it was only my hope."
"See, you want to do something, do it yourself."
"What brings Macaque six-eared, king of the monkeys, to me?"
"So you know?"
"The fact that you managed to come to power? Please, it was predictable. What did you think, that you would get rid of me so easily?"
"Oh... no way. I just came to make sure we stay out of each other's way."
The girl looked at him with a raised eyebrow and then smiled.
"I see you're scared after all."
Macaque showed no emotion.
Blue mist appeared. "I need a champion, and you're perfect."
"And this slave of yours? He can't be one?"
"He's helpful, but I need something more..."
"I'm sorry, but my opinion on this hasn't changed. No."
"Whatever you want, but you know what, I can destroy your perfect world at any time... I guess you don't want that."
"Talk. What do you want."
"It didn't take much to convince you. If you don't want to be my champion, let's cooperate."
"I don't play your games."
"I need the demon mirror that is on your mountain and... your shadow lantern."
"Are you kidding me?! I won't give it to you. I'll agree to the mirror, but the lantern? Forget it."
"It's just like you forget about your husband."
"Do not you dare!"
"Or maybe it is? Do you want to find out?"
"All right, witch. As long as you don't touch my kingdom or him."
"Agreement." she sighed "What a pity the poor guy doesn't know he's trapped in a nightmare" she smiled.
"It's not up to you to destroy it! Do you understand?"
"Are you that scared?"
Macaque pulled a lantern and a mirror from the shadows and held them in front of the girl. "Here, leave me alone."
"It was a plesure to do business with you. Six-eared Macaque."
Macaque disappeared into the shadows.
.
He came back to mountain in a very bad mood.
He immediately secured the entire island with a magical barrier so that no one could get there.
.
-What got you so angry?- Wukong asked, walking up to him. They were in the king's office. Macaque was looking through some papers. And his face definitely showed his bad mood. Wukong walked up to him. He sat on his lap. Macaque snuggled up to him and snuggled into his fur. Wukong smiled gently.
I won't let you go, Macaque thought.
