400.

The door to Jimin's office flew open, pulling him from the file he was reading. A wave of Magnolia flooded to him. Once upon a time, it was a scent that drew a smile on his lips. Later, it became a source for anger. hurt and betrayal.

His nostrils flared as his gaze fell over the familiar figure. Na-Ra stood fuming in the doorway, his secretary looking apologetic and helpless behind her.

"Jimin, we need to talk," Na-Ra announced.

Jimin waved a hand, dismissing his secretary, who nodded curtly and closed the door behind Na-Ra. "Unless it has something to do with our business dealings, I have nothing to say to you. Even for business talks, I've already met your father this morning. You can follow up with him." He turned in his chair, going back to his file.

"This is personal," Na-Ra gritted out. "You blocked me everywhere and you won't answer my calls to your office phone. Two days, Jimin. You canceled your business trip and came here but I had no idea until dad told me he saw you in the office today."

"I didn't know I had to report my whereabouts to you." He cocked his head to the side.

"That's not what I meant," she growled. "You. Blocked. Me!" Anger radiated off her in waves. He was familiar with her anger and how far she'd go with her emotions when she was furious.

Jimin had a hunch why she came directly. He'd been avoiding her calls to his office phone and ignored her emails to his work email. Honestly, he was in no mood for confrontation. He was in a good mood today after sleeping the entire night, holding his omega. His wolf wasn't pleased to have her in their space while they were still floating with their omega's memories and relishing how he felt in his arms last night.

However, this demon didn't come here with an intention to leave. She was here to create a scene and get her way one way or another. It was all she knew. But it was time to set her straight. It had been two days since the court hearing and two days since he blocked her.

Jimin straightened. "Your work email still goes through. You can email me or my assistant for that and don't have to come here. I have nothing personal to do with you," he said in a dismissive voice.

"You have no right to judge me," Na-Ra growled. She approached his desk in a few angry strides; grip strong on her designer handbag. "What if I dated Jun-Myeon? What if I hooked up with him? I didn't do anything you don't do often. You have no right to block me over my life choices. If so, I should be the one to block you first. I should also judge you for your promiscuous ways. You have no rights to question my morals, Jimin." She pointed her index finger at him. "You owe me an explanation."

Jimin sighed and closed the file. It didn't feel like this conversation would end here. As much as he didn't like this, it was impossible to avoid. If he didn't do this today, she would keep coming back with one or other reason.

So he stood and adjusted his suit jacket before circling around the giant mahogany desk. "So you think I blocked you because you slept with Jun-Myeon and other alphas."

"I just don't think so. I know." She notched her chin. "You've been stalking me." The corners of her mouth curved. "I didn't know you cared so much about my whereabouts. Are you jealous?" She smirked.

Jimin suppressed the urge to laugh. Even when he caught them together it wasn't jealousy he felt because he already knew he lost her before he even had her to himself. The scene itself was nauseating.

"Wrong," he said, slowly walking toward her. "I kept an eye on Jun-Myeon because he's my business rival. It was a necessity to stay up to date on his whereabouts so he won't catch me off guard. For example, how he tried to meet my suppliers in Japan and tried to lure them to his side with a promise of a higher profit." He stared down at her. "You're irrelevant to me, Na-Ra. But Jun-Myeon, he is useful to me."
