Garfield and Jon sat at the office, examining the photograph.
"That does seem... odd." Garfield said slightly puzzled.
"I know, of all the dolls and antiques Edgar has taken photos of, this one stands out. It just seems slightly creepy. You think this could be what's the cause of all this?" Jon asked.
"Maybe" Garfield replied. "It's not much to go on, but it certainly does seem ominous. We will have to return to Edgar's mansion to investigate. We must have missed this room when we were there, because I certainly don't remember seeing this case."
The case Garfield was referring to was covered with scribbles of crosses, and had pages from the Bible torn out and placed all over it. Compared to the rest of Edgar's collection, it was downright disturbing.
"Why even purchase this doll?" Jon continued. "Who would want such a wretched thing?"
"It kind of looks like the doll from those movies," replied Garfield.
"Woody? It doesn't look anything like Woody!" Jon said in shock.
Garfield stared at him. Despite having worked with him for years, Jon's stupidity still still sometimes amazed him. His idiocy was one of the greatest mysteries left in the world.
"Let's go." Garfield muttered. "I feel like we're close. Try not to embarass me while we're out."
So, they left. Back to the scene of the crime at Edgar's mansion, back to where it all started.
