When I tell you it only took me two days to absolutely tear through this book. I absolutely love Neilson's writing, her word choice and character design are some of the bests I've ever seen, and I've read a lot of books. Not much I can say without spoiling a ton, but I've found a home in Carthya.
I have spent countless hours lost in these pages, and I no doubt will again, as soon as the fourth and fifth books are in my hands. What a beautiful series.
I'd rate this novel 5/5 stars. There's nothing else for me to say. The roller-coaster of emotions I've been on over the last forty-eight hours was surreal, and I would give up anything to freshly read these books again.
