What a beautiful ending for such a beautiful story. I still have nothing but praise to deliver for Nielson's writing. The witty humor, the twists at every turn, the romance, the daring escapes, the heart-stopping almost deaths... what more could anyone want?
Her writing style is absolutely gorgeous, and the last pages of this novel almost brought me to happy tears. Long live King Jaron, the Ascendant King of Carthya, and Queen Imogen, the Peacebringer.
I am greatly saddened that I must part with these people and their home. These books will definitely find their way into my hands again some day soon.
I'd rate this novel 5/5 stars. Need I say more?
