It's getting worse.
The disturbing messages, photos of me in the Vintage Café drinking my coffee while talking to Estelle or holding a book in my hands and reading.
The stalker must be someone who knows me, it would be hard to find information about me since I keep everything extremely low. The stalker also must know who Estelle is, because they just figured out where she lives. I don't even know where she lives.
They've even sent me photos of Lucas, Jacob, Andrew and Phantom. It's gotten out of hand, and if I don't take care of it, it might be too late, and I could lose someone that I care about. I can't let that happen.
I run a hand through my hair once again, I've been doing that a lot recently. So much that Estelle keeps asking if I'm going bald and wearing a wig which causes my head to itch. Speaking of the ragazza matta, she's currently on her way to the bench.
We decided on meeting here, our secret place where no one would be able to find us. Hopefully not even the stalker. I look at her frame as she takes a seat on the bench next to me, she pants as if she has been running for hours.
''You good?'' I ask, snapping her out of her thoughts. She doesn't answer immediately, she simply stares at the river in front of us, her mind drifting once again away from me. ''Estelle.'' I speak, growing annoyed. Is she giving me that silent treatment of hers?
Estelle slightly jumps at my voice, she furrows her brows as she looks into my eyes. ''I- um.. well uh..'' Her voice is hoarse, as if she has been crying. Estelle clears hear throat, probably sensing that I heard how weird her voice sounds.
''Yes, I'm fine.'' She smiles softly, ''What's wrong? Were you crying?'' I ask still staring into her averted eyes, Estelle doesn't answer once again, and it drives me fucking insane. ''Estelle.'' I spit out carefully, making sure not to sound demanding. Estelle's eyes drift back in front of her, the river catching her eyes once again.
''I don't want talk about it, just- talk about anything else.'' She mumbles. I narrow my eyes before slowly nodding, knowing Estelle means that if she doesn't want to talk about something, she'll do anything in her power to avoid that subject.
I don't say anything, I don't know what to say. Do I just tell her that the stalker has been taking photos of her? Sent me her address? Sent pictures of her and Flora shopping? Sent pictures of her hugging that Adam guy from the café who makes shit coffee? I figure that it's not the moment to bring the subject up, so I simply do what I never thought I'd do.
I shut up.
''Flora's friend is hosting a party..'' She suddenly speaks, breaking the silence. I follow her gaze and look at the river. It looks like diamonds. Diamonds that I would enjoy destroying. I want to feel like myself again, I don't want to feel this way anymore. What have you done to me ragazza matta?
''Okay. Are you going?'' I ask, I don't know why she suddenly needed to inform me about it seeing as it's none of my business. She slowly nods her head before looking away from the river and landing her eyes on mine. ''Would you like to come with me?'' A soft smile appears on her lips, a hopeful smile. ''You could invite your friends, I bet Flora would be happy to see you all there.'' Her smile grows wider. It always does when she mentions Flora, the mention of her best friend that she spends all her free time with makes all her problems disappear, I've noticed that multiple times.
