Chapter 10: Preparation

Author's note: hi. Sorryyyyyyyyy there were some exams I had to study for. I kinda left this half done, but I kept writing by bits. I'll try to finish the next one faster lol.

~LUCIFER'S POV:~
Ok. Don't panic. He just confessed his feelings to you and asked you on a date. This does not feel real. Damn, he's waiting for me. I don't work under pressure. I do like him back. So say it.

But, what if it's some kind of joke? Or scheme? Is he sincere? Maybe I should find out somehow. I will say yes to that date. Not because I want to. Nope, not at all. Research purposes only.

"Yes, alright, I will go on a date with you." he looks kind of relieved, that's good.

Well, I suppose I got myself a date. Now I better go properly panic about this in my room. I will come up with the perfect, non suspicious excuse.
"I have to go take my rubber ducks to school. Bye." sometimes I wonder why it is that I am so stupid.

~ALASTOR'S POV:~
That was odd. Lucifer is quite bad at lying, but why would he lie to me? At least he did not lie about agreeing to this date thing. I would have known if he did.

What if he does not like me back? No, I am positive he does. Everything is very obvious with him.

I have to make sure this date confirms his feelings to me. I must impress him. Now then, I better go plan this because I have no idea on how it may work. Maybe I should ask the princess? She did say she would help me, and it is her fault I asked him in the first place.

~NO ONE'S POV:~
Alastor walked back to the lobby to find Charlie. She was checking the hotel's paperwork, sitting on the couch. Angeldust was trying to flirt with Husk and failing miserably lmao.

Vaggie was out getting some decoration stuff Charlie needed. Sir Pentious was listening to an eggs' conspiracy theory about the government. It was a normal day. For them.

He approached Charlie and asked her to go to a more secluded corner. He did need advice, but he was not stupid enough to humiliate himself in front of some idiots.

"I did what you wanted me to. But I do not know how I can make it work out. I must impress him. Do you have any ideas?" the Radio Demon was thinking about different ways to off himself as he spoke. How ridiculous was it that he had to ask for help.?

"Ohhh, you did it!! And dad said yes! That's amazing, Alastor! From now on it's way easier, don't worry." she was radiating joy. How annoying.

"Enlighten me, princess." dude was tired of the bs.

"Alright, you have to take him somewhere nice, do you have something in mind? If not that's alright, I know dozens of places!" she was way too into it.

"I know good places to kill and hunt deers? But I do not believe those will work well." he didn't have much knowledge on romantic, or any non-murderous, kind of stuff.

"You know what, I have a great idea. We can go visit Rosie! She'll know how to help for sure! That way we both help you out, it's gonna be perfect for sure! What do you think?" Charlie was kinda good at this, but Rosie could really help, especially with clothing.

"Very well, I suppose we can go see her. But please be discreet. I would not want everyone in hell to know about this. And do not mention his name." Alastor knew that Lucifer wouldn't want this date thing to go public, so he wasn't taking any risks.

"Yay!! That's perfect, then! Let's go right away! This is gonna be so much fun!" the princess started walking happily towards the exit of the hotel.

~ALASTOR'S POV:~
What did I get myself into. Oh, well, I suppose this is for the better. Without the help of those two, I would be quite a mess during this date. I will go with it, hopefully Rosie will not be too inquisitive about my partner.

I can understand why he would not want people to know about us, but I still dislike it. It feels like he is somehow ashamed of me. He never hid his relationship with Lylith, and the princess is already very much aware. So this hiding thing appears to be ridiculous.

"We're here!" it seems we are at Rosie's emporium.
