Chapter 3: Stay

~LUCIFER'S POV:~
I like this place. Alastor did a great job. He says it's hot but I don't really feel it. That's strange, for what other reason could he possibly get like that? Maybe he is interested. I think I'll have to test that theory. Let's see if he wants me to stay. He probably doesn't, but just to check.

"Well, it has been a very nice visit, but as you know, being king of hell comes with responsibilities, so I think I will get going." let's see what he thinks about me leaving.

~ALASTOR'S POV:~
I can't let him leave, the whole plan rests on him staying here. I need to convince him otherwise. Just for the plan, of course.

"But your majesty, you haven't even talked to Charlie. I'm sure she would love to have you stay here for a bit. Maybe you could make some time in your schedule?"
Maybe this will get him to stay. He looks happy for some reason. That's cute. I mean weird. I keep distracting myself. Who cares if he's happy as long as he's staying. That's right, just focus.

"Well, Radio Demon, do you want me to stay here? Just say it and I'll do it." the king sure asks strange questions, but this is good for the plan.

"I want you to stay, your majesty." why the fuck did saying that make me blush again. It was a stupid question, but I liked it. Well, obviously because it helps my plan. No other reason. At all.

~NO ONE'S POV:~
Charlie finished scolding Angel and suddenly remembered she left Alastor with her dad. She panicked since she didn't know how they would get along. She walked fast to the lobby hoping for the best. Surprisingly, the two of them were talking about whatever and enjoying their company. The princess was very happy watching this situation.

"I don't really go out much but damn, hell sure is noisy." Lucifer was just ranting about anything at this point, but he knew he was probably blushing. He got his answer, maybe the Radio Demon was interested in him after all. He thought he could try and find out more about it if he did as he said and stayed there a couple days or so.

"Hasn't it always been?  However, I think the noise is part of the charm." Alastor was very content with the blush in the Devil's face. He wasn't naive, he knew very well what was happening. And he liked it. Making the Devil blush was something that for some reason made the Radio Demon very happy.

"Hi guys! I see you're getting along just fine on your own! I was kinda worried to leave you together, I guess there was nothing to worry about." Charlie walked towards them as they turned their heads.

They felt kind of caught. It wasn't like they were doing something wrong, but they got a bit embarrassed to be found out blushing over each other. The two demons quickly turned around and tried to act 'normal'. It didn't really work.
"Heyy, daughter, what brings you here?" Lucifer wasn't great at acting, but he was trying hard. Too hard.

"Hey, dad? Um, it's the hotel I work at?" Charlie was a bit confused. She was getting curious and suspicious of the two demons in front of her.
"Hi, dearie, we finished the tour and we were chatting a bit." Alastor tried to fix the idiot's mistake.

"Oh, well, come on dad, I have to introduce you to the employees!" the princess of hell went back to being clueless.

"Right behind you, sweetie!" the Devil was pretty nervous, he didn't want her to notice whatever was going on with the Radio Demon. Alastor could sense that, and he didn't like it at all. Was the King of hell ashamed of him? He couldn't get the doubt out of his head.

"Ok, so here is Angel, I think you met him. That's Husk, ignore his rudeness. There's Niffty, she cleans the place. Oh, and Sir Pentious! He's on his way to redemption!" Charlie was really excited for his dad to meet her friends. "I almost forgot! This is Vaggie, my girlfriend. She helps me run the place."

Lucifer stared at the odd bunch of people standing there. The weird pink guy wearing whore clothes. The grumpy bartender who looked like shit all the time. The weird kid demon stabbing cockroaches. The snake surrounded by walking eggs. And the angel-looking girl who seemed ready to kill something.

"These look like wonderful people, darling. I see your hotel is doing quite well." even if the Devil didn't actually think that, he put on his best act for his daughter. He decided he should to avoid fucking up again. "Well, Charlotte, I'll go to a room, if you would like me to stay here."

Charlie couldn't believe it, her dad wanted to stay! This meant that the hotel was doing great. "Sure dad, Alastor, do you mind taking my father to an empty room?"

~ALASTOR'S POV:~
"Of course I don't, princess. Follow me, your majesty." Alastor knew what he was going to do. The King of hell ashamed of him? That was unacceptable. He was going to confront him, as soon as they entered the goddamn room.
