L/n Y/n, one of the best professors in a university meets Im Nayeon a professor the same age as him. What Y/n doesn't realize is that they've met years before. How will Nayeon adjust to such circumstances?
A few minutes have already passed yet their positions haven't changed. It's to be believed that our protagonist found something new inside his heart, not a love interest, but he seems to be addicted to lap pillows now.
The TV was on and the two were watching news, it wasn't really that exciting to watch, making Y/n yawn.
"Does your head still hurt, Y/n?" Nayeon asked,
"It still does by a bit. It'd probably hurt more if you weren't here." Y/n said as he put the TV into its YouTube mode.
"Smart TVs are a godsend." Y/n continued.
His TV's YouTube recommendations are filled with complex math videos. Leaving Nayeon wondering what Y/n finds as a source of entertainment.
Y/n played a video about the Collatz conjecture. The two started watching while Nayeon sighed.
"I feel like continuing to watch math videos will make me have headaches." Nayeon said as Y/n laughed.
"It makes me calm down, if that's enough to convince you on why we should watch it." Y/n replied back.
"By the way, I'm sorry for assuming you have a thing for me. Y'know, the kiss on the cheek. It's just that I never experienced something like that." Y/n explained, surrendering the thought of Nayeon ever liking him.
"I-"
"What are you guys doing~?" Jihyo said as she caught the two still in the lap pillow position. Y/n suddenly sat back at the other side of the couch and blushed immensely. Jihyo then dropped the items she bought on the table.
"Jihyo- You're back!" Y/n said, stuttering over his words.
"Yeah, and it looks like the two of you are enjoying each other. Felt like if I left you guys for 5 to 10 minutes more I'd catch the two of you making out." Jihyo teased, making Y/n and Nayeon blush.
"It was Nayeon's idea!" Y/n said, throwing Nayeon under the bus.
"Even if it was my idea,it's not like you didn't enjoy it. Jihyo was right when she said you need to be babied. How would your students react if their cold professor actually has this kind of side?" Nayeon said, trying to blackmail Y/n.
"I cannot believe you would go so low to the point you'd blackmail a sick person-" Y/n said as he jokingly coughed after his statement.
"Anyways, me and Nayeon can't stay for long. We're only here to check up on you." Jihyo said as Nayeon walked to her.
"I hope you get well soon, Y/n." Nayeon said as she faced Y/n.
"I'll try my best then. I feel like I'd still be out of commission tomorrow though." Y/n said as he clenched his fist.
"It's fine, what's important is that you rest well. We can go out on Saturday! There's no classes on Monday and Tuesday so I'd argue we can relax for a bit, we can even invite the others." Jihyo said.
Y/n thought about it, "Sure, we can use my van. That is if I already feel better by then."
"Sounds like a plan then. See you, Y/n!" Jihyo said as she exited the door.
"Goodbye, Y/n~" Nayeon said flirtatiously as she followed up with a wink, it wasn't that of a proper wink but Y/n still found it cute. As if it gave him the feels.
