The days turned into weeks, and Taehyung found himself looking forward to his meetings with Minjae more than he had anticipated. Their shared sanctuary by the waterfall had become a place of solace and companionship. They talked about everything from their packs to the wonders of nature, sharing stories and experiences that forged a connection between them.

Taehyung had never met an Alpha quite like Minjae. The young Alpha possessed a childlike innocence and a gentleness that was a stark contrast to the often toxic masculinity of other Alphas. He was a breath of fresh air in Taehyung's world, and he found himself drawn to Minjae's genuine nature.

As they sat by the waterfall one sunny afternoon, the water's mist gently kissing their skin, Minjae turned to Taehyung with a curious expression. "Taehyung, can I ask you something personal?"

Taehyung, who had been gazing at the water, turned to face Minjae with a warm smile. "Of course, Minjae. You can ask me anything."

Minjae hesitated for a moment, as if trying to find the right words. Finally, he spoke, his voice tinged with curiosity. "Do you have a mate, a partner, or... an Alpha with you?"

Taehyung's smile faltered for a brief moment before he replied, "No, Minjae. I don't have a mate or an Alpha partner."

Minjae's eyes brightened at Taehyung's response, and Taehyung couldn't help but notice the subtle shift in his demeanor. It was as if a spark of pleasure had ignited within Minjae, hidden beneath his innocent exterior.

"Why do you ask?" Taehyung inquired, genuinely curious about Minjae's interest.

Minjae shrugged, his cheeks slightly flushed. "I was just curious. You seem like such a wonderful Omega, and I couldn't imagine someone not wanting to be with you."

Taehyung chuckled, a warm feeling settling in his chest at Minjae's compliment. "Thank you, Minjae. That's very kind of you to say."

They fell into a comfortable silence, the sound of the waterfall providing a soothing backdrop to their thoughts. Taehyung couldn't help but wonder about Minjae's reaction to his answer. It was almost as if the young Alpha was pleased to learn that Taehyung was unattached.

As the days passed, Taehyung and Minjae continued to meet by the waterfall, their conversations deepening as they shared more about their lives, hopes, and dreams. Taehyung learned that Minjae had a profound love for the natural world and often spent hours exploring the forests and meadows near his pack's territory.

"You should visit sometime," Minjae suggested one day, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "I'd love to show you the beauty of our lands."

Taehyung smiled at the invitation. "I'd like that, Minjae. Your passion for nature is contagious."

Minjae's cheeks turned a faint shade of pink, and he cleared his throat, seemingly embarrassed by the praise. "Well, it's just... being in nature makes me feel alive, you know?"

Taehyung nodded in understanding. "I feel the same way. It's a reminder of the simplicity and beauty of the world, away from the complexities of our roles."

Their bond deepened as they shared their vulnerabilities, dreams, and fears. Taehyung had never felt this comfortable with anyone outside his pack before, and it both excited and scared him. There was a growing attraction, a connection that went beyond mere friendship, but neither of them had broached that topic yet.

One day, as they sat together under the warm sun, Minjae turned to Taehyung with a thoughtful expression. "Taehyung, there's something I want to say."

Taehyung raised an eyebrow, curious. "What is it, Minjae?"
