Chapter Twenty-Two

As I stepped out of the castle for the first time I needed more information from anyone who will talk about their time living here. As I walked around children tried to call out to me but I shook my head no they wouldn't realize this now but when they're older they'd understand why I couldn't talk to them or play with them.

An older lady came up to me "he told us you had died"She whispered "He can't see who I really am"I said she smiled and motioned for me to come to her home as I did. As we sat at the table.

"What do you need to know about daylight and roses"She asked "Your life here how have they treated you?"I asked "I'm old as dust so it might be a while"She said, "Pour the gasoline"I said smiling. "His great grandmother is where everything changed my mother had told me the horror stories about how they were treated and compared to how we are treated now its way better"She said "They never ate and if you were pregnant you'd get scheduled meals and they had slaves from your realm anyone that was less than a five at the time would be a slave unless you were pregnant they had to treat you nice and give you food by law"She said "Who controls our realm?"I asked "It's been a while but he's a fae like you guys and some of us including myself he's about six thousand years old"She said as the sun started going down. "Before you leave come back and I'll give you a map and how to find him"She said as I got up from the table as she walked me she whispered "be careful thornblood your the only one who can save us"

As I walked back to the castle he hugged me which was new. "Welcome back, did you have fun?"He asked "Yes, I did" I said keeping it short and sweet. As I went straight to my room. That's against the law to keep slaves. What do we do about this atlas shot down the bond Well once I get back I'll go find him. I told him down the bond No it's too dangerous he shot back down the bond but I ignored him blocking it out. Two days that's all I have left of this place and then I can get out and run far far away from this place. But how does someone get out?

That morning I woke to see dawn furious. "Good Morning highlord"I addressed him. He looked over and all his anger went away. I could feel it, "GoodMorning, how was your sleep?"He asked "Excellent"I said "But if someone wanted to explore the other realms how would one get out?"I asked. "Oh that's simple, let's take you for an example, you would go back to the river I pulled you out from and swim back to the cave"He said smiling. "How interesting,"I said. As the doors opened up I walked out for fresh air. Seeing the sun rise was beautiful as the sunlight hit my face.

"For a second there I thought you were going to leave"He said standing next to me "No why would I"I said "I just love the sunrise"I said smiling "You look immaculate in the sunlight rosei"He told me "Rosi?"I questioned "My apologies"He said in an apologetic voice. "Have fun"He told me, letting me walk out.

As I walked by a lot of children they handed me roses as I got further down the path I saw someone sketchy his eyes met mine and nodded at me. I headed over to him and he grabbed me running to the forest. The Shadow Monsters sang and danced for me. "What do you know about this court?"I asked him. "To much but not enough"His rough voice said it all "He told you how he was beat when he ran away from here with older kids"He said "It's not the truth the truth is that he was a slave for his own father and they beat the shit out of him and he almost killed him that night"He added.

That's why they look like what they do. "His mother is the nicest person until it comes to war, if war is happening she'll go to great links to protect herself"He added

As I walked by the water. We have enough information, come home. Atlas said pulling onto the bond I turned around seeing the old lady holding out the map as she smiled. "Be careful they're dangerous people sun"She whispered "Good thing i'd be sad killing weak people"I whispered back. I took the map and headed into the water. It's alway freezing. I swam under, finding the cave and getting out without notice. I looked down at my hands and realized I was back to normal. Atlas was waiting on me with a towel he wrapped around me as I got out as soon as I was warm and in dry clothing.

"Okay so now what?"Ezra asked the doors to my room open and my wolves climbed onto my bed warming my body up. "There are other things we must get before going to see this leader"I said "Like?"They asked "I'm not a hundred percent sure but I know my wolves are needed"I told them "And that I need to become darkness again"I added "No"Ezra said "I have to it's the only way"I said "You want them to be stopped then I have to be emotionless" I explained.

"You need wings"Ezra said "What?"I asked "Either the necklace or actual wings and your sun pendant"He continued. "How do you know this?"I asked him "Because I know who this person is and he's not easy to get to"He explained. "You'll go through trial and error to get to him and he will treat you like shit through the trials"He said "And your gonna wanna give up but you can't he needs to see if your worthy"He explained "Okay we have majority of the items we need how do we get the wings?"Atlas asked

"Dawn has a wing necklace"I said then he vanished and brought it back sitting it with my sun necklace.
