There once was a couple called the Maitlands. The two were inseparable and loved each other very much, sharing a bond that seemed unbreakable. Their love story began when Barbara Maitland was just 17 and Adam Maitland was 19. They met properly at a local community event, where their eyes locked across the crowded room, igniting a spark that neither of them could ignore. As they spent more time together, their connection deepened, leading them to marry a few years later in a quaint ceremony filled with laughter and joy.
Once they married, the two came up with a ten-year plan, excited about their future together. They envisioned a life filled with adventures, career aspirations, and perhaps even starting a family. However, as time went on, they realized that their ambitious plan ended up making things more complicated than they had anticipated. The pressure to meet certain milestones weighed heavily on them, creating tension that threatened to overshadow their love. What had started as a dream for their future began to feel like a series of obligations, challenging the very foundation of their relationship.
Adam Maitland, was a tall (6'0) man, shy and clean cut guy. He always had his brown hair styled which matched his brown sparkling eyes and the man often wore plaid. He enjoyed simple things like DIY and mending. Adam had a wooden model of the village they first lived in, everything was super small and detailed. This hobby calmed him. Another thing he truly loved was his wife Barbara Maitland. He never batted an eye at any other woman, Barbara was perfect and all he wanted. She was sweet but knew how to have fun, she had gorgeous big doll green eyes and blonde wavy hair. She usually wore some sort of modest floral dress and enjoyed taking on new activities such a gardening. Barbara was smaller than Adam, she was 5'2 and a HALF. She always made sure people knew there was an extra half.
Unfortunately, they had recently been through a near-death experience. Just minutes after the two had settled into their perfectly antiquated living room, the floor unexpectedly gave out beneath them. It was a shocking moment, one that felt surreal, as if the universe had conspired to test their luck once again. Luckily, the couple had decided to head into the kitchen just moments before, prompted by the shrill sound of the fire alarm blaring through the house. The noise had pierced through the air like a warning bell, urging them to move. It was almost comical, as if they had been saved by the bell, but in this case, the bell was a fire alarm, ringing out a frantic call for action. They exchanged glances, relief washing over them as they realized that their instinct to evacuate had spared them from yet another brush with disaster.
