Weeks went by, every weekend and Friday after work and school they saw the deetz family and sometimes Lydia during the week depending on what she was doing.

Today, Adam was at work as he's been working extra hard in a small shop he's opened for wood works and furniture. Meanwhile, Barbara was at home, she was suppose to be cleaning and making food so they could have a nice romantic movie night together later on.

Recently, The maitlands had been really desperate for their own baby, so the past few months they'd been trying to get pregnant but sadly each time, it didn't work.
In the afternoon Barbara was stood in the bathroom hovered over the test sat on the sink. This pattern was becoming to familiar, she knew what was coming and Barbara hated every minute of it. She stared the test waiting for what felt like forever, all she could feel was her heart pounding and her body shaking nervously but she continued to wait, whilst breathing in and out, despite the difficulty. Eventually, the test came up.. negative again. Barbara closed her eyes trying not to cry but each time she saw a negative test it secretly upset her. She let out a massive sigh and sniffled, her heart felt shattered, every bit of hope she had was gone now.

Afew minutes later, Adam finished the work and embarked on his journey through the trees home. When he entered the house happily, he began calling out to his wife, Barbara. "Honey! I'm home! Barbara!" He paused looking around for a while. He heard quiet sniffling coming from the restroom and when he entered the he saw his wife sat on the closed toilet seat staring at the negative test. "Barbara?" He asked concernedly before kneeling besides her "hey, hey, look at me.." he slowly cupped her cheek moving her face towards his direction "what's wrong?"

"It's negative, again.." She instantly began crying to her husband. Adam glanced at the negative test and took it out her hands, then placed it on the side of the bathroom sink. He gently hugged her and kissed her fore head as he scooped her up bridal style and placed her on the living room couch- Somewhere they could talk it out- "I just don't understand, what's wrong with me? Why isn't it working?" Barbara sobbed.

Adam face filled with concern as he held her hands. "Nothing, nothings wrong with you. It might just take more time honey... yeah?" He asked as she nodded along with cascading tears.

The two embraced each other into a hug, whilst they sat there speaking and cuddling for hours. Needless to say they weren't getting that romantic movie night but they both enjoyed holding each other despite that.
