For the first time in a while, I haven't thought of Colton.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Jack asks me, smiling.
Jack moved here from England. He's tall, has brown hair and blue eyes, and a total flirt. He's also beautiful.
He's also not embarrassed to be seen with me.
It's awful to think but it's the truth.
"Like what?" I tease.
"Like you want to get married and have all my babies." he says, and I slap his arm.
"Arden?" I turn to the sound of my name coming from a voice I haven't heard in a while.
Tatum.
"Can we talk?" she asks, glancing at Jack.
He nods and kisses my cheek before walking away, giving us privacy.
"Me and Luke broke up." she says.
I told you so.
"What happened?" i ask her.
"I broke up with him. I realized that I was being a bad friend. Olivas been there for me through everything, and I was being a bitch choosing a boy, let alone her ex who cheated on her, over her." she answers.
"Glad you realized." I say smiling and she pushes my arm playfully. We both burst out laughing.

At lunch me, Sara, Olivia, Tatum, and newly Jack sits at a table.
It's good to have our group back.
Tatum apologized to Olivia, and she forgave her instantly.
Olivia's ability to forgive is a blessing and a curse.
"Are you all going to college?" Jack asks.
"Yes." Sara says.
"Maybe." Tatum replies.
"I'm not sure I guess it depends what life throws my way." I say laughing.
Olivia just shrugs but I don't by it. She's been playing basketball her entire life. What she means is, if I get a scholarship which I will because I'm one of the best players on the team and scouts come all the time.
But I don't say. There's a reason she didn't say it out loud.
As the people at my table talk, I get a text from Adrien.
"Games next Friday. you're going right?"
"Of course! I'm not missing your first game." I reply.
"Good. Let me know if you're inviting people. I get tickets at a discount now."
I laugh at his reply. That's why he asked me.
"Are you all going to the football game next week?" I ask aloud.
"Only if you are." Jack says, with a wink. I roll my eyes and he laughs.
"Yeah probably." Tatum says.
Sara and Olvia nod their heads.
"Adrien gets tickets at a discount so he's getting them." I tell them.
"5 including me." I text Adrien.
He just replies with a thumbs up.

"Are you going to the game?" Colton texts.
I don't answer like usual.
I'm proud of myself.
I haven't given in even though I want too so badly.
Hopefully I can keep it up.
