After the concert, everyone was tired. I was beginning to have a pounding headache but that didn't stop me from being hyper with adrenaline. The music was amazing and Cass even got to go behind stage and meet her favorite band. She had been so happy but now she was asleep in her mates arms. I was in the passenger seat of Ryan's truck and looking out the window at all the passing cars. It was crazy how many people were at the concert but in a way it was still fun.

Ryan took my hand in his and kissed it with out looking away from the road. "So what did John say?" I looked at me and then back out to the road. "He asked if I was having fun and when I was coming home. I told him that I would after fall break but that I was planning on looking for some place to stay down here. I think he's just happy that I'm getting out of the house." He nodded and turned into the parking lot for our hotel. I turned around and tapped Cass's shoulder. "Hey we're back at the hotel." Cass looked up. "Are we still going out to eat?" I looked at Ryan. "Well we have better plans then just eating. Trust me it will be fun. Let's go get the others before we talk about it anymore." We all got out of the trucks and cars and went to the game room that I had saw the first night we were here.

Ryan cleared his throat and all 30 people turned to look at him. "Okay guys. As you all know, it's a full moon. And I know that all of you want to get out and run since you really haven't shifted in a good 2 weeks. So here's the plan. I've talked to Alpha Jacks and he is more than happy to join packs with us. We are going to be welcoming his pack into ours tonight. I want all of you to go get ready and meet us down in the lobby in 30 minutes. Any questions?" Ryan looked around and when there were no questions, everyone split up to go to their rooms.

"When were you going to tell me that we were joining packs?" I asked the group. It was now just Jacks, Blue, Cass, Ryan, and Caleb. Cass and I weren't happy that we were left out of the decision. "Well, Ryan and I were talking about it during the concert. And we thought it would be best since you guys found your mates in his pack and I know it would kill Blue if we left you guys. Why are you mad about it? I thought you would be happy." I shook my head. "I am. I just... You of all people should understand why me and Cass are mad. Come on Cass. I need to smoke." I grabbed her hand and she didn't object. We walked outside and sat down on a bench. Cass looked like she was about to cry. I lit up my cigarette and took a long drag before talking. "Cass, I'm as pissed off as you are." She nodded, "I know. How could Jacks and Blue do that without asking us?" I shook my head before taking another hit. "Because they weren't the ones that went through the most pain that night." The reason why Cass and I hate the idea of big packs are because of the night that we got turned. Cass and I had been out looking for fire wood while everyone else stayed at the camp site. Cass's little sister, Jasmine, had been there too. When the werewolves caught our scent, they attacked us first. They all ganged up on us, biting and clawing. It was horrible. After they finished with us, they found the camp. The werewolves had believed that we were dead so they just scratched the others. All except Jasmine.

"Cass, you know that if I would have known that there was a pack of wolves there, I would have stayed at the camp and Jasmine would still be here." Cass let out a sob. The tears that she had been trying to keep back began to fall so I tossed down my cigarette and wrapped my arms around her. Jasmine had been scratched at the chest. Her body was to small and the blood just kept pouring out of her chest. I let the tears of my own fall down silently and rubbed Cass's back gently.
"I still have nightmares of that night, Rave. And all I can ever see is Jasmine. It's like she's haunting me." I shushed her and pulled her tighter to me. "I know. I do too." Cass sighed after 5 minutes of crying and sat back up. "Maybe it will do us some good to join Ryan's pack." I nodded and stood up. "Well, we better go get ready then." She smiled slightly and we both walked back into the hotel.

When I reached my room, I changed into a pair of shorts and a tank top. I decided to just keep on my combat boots and left my hair down. As I walked down to the lobby to meet the group, I felt like my heart was tearing into two piece. It had been my idea to go camping. It had been my idea to take Jasmine with us. I had been the one to take Cass with me to get the firewood. I was the reason why Jasmine was dead. I chocked back a sob and pressed the button on the elevator to go down.

When I reached the lobby everyone was already there. I put on a emotionless face and walked over to where Cass was standing. She gave me a thankful smile and we turned to the group of people. Ryan was at the front of the group. "There is woods behind this hotel. Just go there and we will all meet in the middle. Do not turn. Just head to the middle so we can start the ceremony. Then we will run." We all did as we were told. I looked at Cass and mind linked her. 'I say we run there. As fast as we can. It will help us feel better.' She nodded eagerly and we snuck out the other exit. When we saw the woods, we both looked at each other and nodded. Then, we took off running at full speed. It felt good to run in my human form. I pushed myself harder as the memories of that night raced through me head. I shook my head and let the feeling of being free corse through my body. I let a laugh out and so did Cass. We ran for a good 5 minutes before we came to a large clearing. This is was the place Ryan told us to meet at. Cass and I sat down on the ground and smiled at each other. "You hear that?" I listened and heard the crashing of waves against sand. "Oh we are so going to go swimming after we run." I giggled and Cass nodded eagerly. We sat there and listened to the crashing waves before we heard footsteps getting louder. I sighed and stood up. Cass did as well. Ryan was the first into the clearing. "Why did you run?" I smiled. "To feel free."

I know. It's been awhile. And I'm sorry I haven't updated. But hopefully this chapter will make up for it. I'm not going to sugar coat it, but my life has been hectic. But I still feel bad for not updating. So after I post this chapter I'm going to start working on chapter 8. I hope you all enjoy this one. Poor Jasmine and Cass and Rave. But here it is.

Or not that's okay lol.
I love you all so much and I really am sorry for not updating sooner. I will try to not get behind on updating anymore. So I decided to dedicate this chapter to a song that I love. Shatter me by Lindsey Stirling (feat. Lzzy Hale) . It's goes great for when Rave is talking about that horrible night she was turned. Once again I hope you all enjoy.
