The wolf within me (ON HOLD)

Chapter 3

"Wake up you lazy bum!!" I growled and threw a pillow at the voice. "That's it!" I felt the warm blanket leave my body and I groaned. "Go away." I took the other pillow and threw it on top of my head. "No. Not when you are going to sleep through your birthday." My ears perked up and I jumped up. "Oh yeah." I looked at Cass and Blue. I must of hit Cass with the pillow because she had it in her hand. "Get dressed. We are going out to eat and then going shopping." They left and I ran to the bathroom to take a quick shower and fix my hair. I changed into a black tanktop and a pair of black skinny jeans with holes in them. And of course I put my combat boots on. I fixed my make up and grabbed my phone and bag, some girls call it a purse but that sounds to girly so I just call it a bag, that has my money and my key in it and ran out the door. They had told me to meet them in the lobby. I ran to the elevator and pushed the button. 'I wonder where we are going to eat.' Layla smiled 'hopefully some place that serves meat.' I nodded and agreed with her.

The elevator finally came and I pushed the button for the lobby. When the doors opened my smile grew. I jogged up to my friends and jumped onto James's back, messing up his hair. "You're lucky it's your birthday." He laughed and spun around. "Okay okay I give." He stopped and I got off his back. Everyone in the lobby looked at us like we were insane and I flipped one person off. He growled at me. I rolled my eyes, knowing I could kick his ass. I couldn't help but look around when I smelt something amazing. It was a musk type smell mixed with leaves. My favorite smell. I shrugged and turned back to my friends. "Where are we eating? I'm starved." Blue laughed and said it's a surprise. We all piled into the truck and Jacks drove. We all rolled down our windows and of courses, the smokers started smoking.

We pulled into the most amazing place ever. A Chinese restaurant!! Layla and I were both jumping with excitement. "We knew you would like it." Cass smiled at me. We went in and ate. After eating until we all were full, we started looking around for stores. I saw a arts and crafts store and made them stop there. The guys groaned but I didn't care. After a while the guys were getting tired of going to 'girly' stores so we all decided to go to a sports store. I bought a football t-shirt, yes I like football. We got weird looks but we didn't care. We were having a great time. Finally, it was time to go to the best store on earth. Backstage. I bought new clothes, a neckless, and some rings and earrings. I also found a cute pair of boots. I had even bought a birthday present for Cass without her seeing.

After another hour, we decided it was time to head back. It was about 3:00 PM. We all grabbed the bags that we had and carried them inside the hotel. The guys hadn't bought as much but they decided to help carry some of our bags. I refused to let them help me. When I finally got to my room I sighed. I put the bags down on my bed. "We are going to head to the pool. Hurry up and change and meet us down there." I heard James say from the door. "Okay. Be down in a few." I took off my clothes and changed into my black bikini. I grabbed a hair tie, my black flip flops, my key and phone, and a towel. I walked to the elevator and pushed the button. I caught the same smell as earlier today and looked around. 'Nothing. Where is that smell coming from?' Layla was getting mad. 'Maybe it's just the cleaner they use here.' She sighed and went quite again. The elevator came and I went in. I got to the first floor and went to the indoor pool. My friends were already there. So were some of the people from last night.

I walked up to Cass, seeing as she was the only one not in the pool. I sat my stuff on the table and sat down beside her. She was wearing a rainbow bikini. "Hey. Come on. Jump in with me." I smiled at her. But she only frowned. She looked at me and whispered. "I didn't know there was other werewolves here." I looked around and nodded. "Yea. I saw them last night. They didn't attack me so I'm sure they are okay." She nodded. James came up to us and grabbed our hands. "Let's go you two. In the pool now." He pulled us up and Cass did as she was told and jumped in. I crossed my arms and stuck my tongue out at James. "I am not going to be bossed around by you. I'm an adult now remember." I reminded him playfully. He cocked and eyebrow up and I regretted what I said. "No. James don't you dare!" Too late. He picked me up, threw me over his shoulder and then tossed me into the pool. I swam back up and looked at him. "You are such an ass, Jameson!" He smiled and jumped in as well, splashing me in the process. I growled and swam to the edge and pulled myself up to sit down. I pulled my hair back with the hair tie and flipped James off playfully. Jacks, Blue, and Cass were laughing at me which got the attention of the other werewolves. "That is it, James. It's my birthday and you embarrassed me. So you shall pay." I smiled evilly as I stood up on the edge and jumped in near him. I opened my eyes under water and saw him looking around trying to find me. I swam up to his leg and tugged on it gently and then pulled him under slightly. I swam to the surface and laughed as he looked at my terrified. I splashed him and then Cass. And then the splashing war began.

"Let's play a game. Cass, you get onto James's shoulder. Blue you get onto Jacks's shoulder. Cass and Blue will try to push each other off the shoulders of the guys. Go!" I pulled myself up on the edge of the pool to sit as they did as I said. We were all laughing and then Cass was pushed off. I laughed even harder when she came back up and splashed Blue. I clapped my hand. "Hey guys, watch this." Cass got out of the pool and did a flip into it. I smiled and got onto the diving board. "My turn." I started jumping on it before pushing off and doing a 360 twirl in the air. I swam back up in time to see the guys battling it out. I sat on the edge of the pool again and laughed as I cheered for Jacks. All of a sudden, a loud growl was heard and I looked over and saw buff guy staring at me. My smile faded away. He growled again as we met eyes. "Mate."
