"stop staring at me and come here instead!"

i was glaring at joshua while my left hand was on the side of my waist while the other one was holding the wooden paddel of this bamboo boat we rented to roam around the whole lagoon even this lake that is connected to the falls. and while i was convincing him to go down and help me reach the falls using this boat, he was just there almost lying on the huge rock. he was staring at me intently watching my every move kahit ang ginagawa ko lang naman is to play with the paddle and the water. and he was doing that for quite long now.

he was staring at me like as if he wasn't seeing anyone and like as if his world was revolving around me. oh well, wala naman kasing ibang tao dito kundi kami lang, i mean there's only few tourists here and you can count them in your hands at kasama na kami don. i have noticed that he's been giving me that kind of look since yesterday. i wasn't complaining naman pero kasi if i were a girl, i would've fall for him already. and kung hindi lang ako nagmo-move on, jinowa ko na tong lalaki na to.

"come here now shua! help me get to the falls!" i said in sing-song voice like a kid then i even pouted and move my body side to side as i played with the water using the paddle i was holding.

but then again, he just shook his head and chuckled. "im tired already pretty, kaya mo na yan."

i glared at him once more. "im scared! what if may biglang lumabas na monster sa gitna tapos kinuha ako ha?! come here na kasi!"

yes. that's probably the reason why i was so scared of going to the falls on my own kahit kaya ko because i have the paddle and the bamboo boat with me and the tour guide earlier told us that this is safe to use plus i was wearing a life vest, pero kasi! ive watched some vlogs and documentaries that it was possible to have like mythical creature on the lake! especially that the water was green and i cannot see the bottom! nakakatakot! tapos pano kung may crocodile?!

but joshua just laughed harder that's why he received a death glare from me. "there's no monster in this lake, pretty. you're safe."

though he convinced me so much that there was no such thing as the monster i kept talking about, hindi padin ako tumigil. and since i do really want him to come with me tapos ayaw nyang gumalaw, iniwan ko yung bamboo boat and the paddle i was holding as i made my way upwards towards to where he was resting. natatawa pa sya nung nakitang papalapit na ako. when i went to where he is, i bend down to be on the same level as his and i leaned closer and titled my head until my lips made contact with his.

alam kong isang halik ko lang papayag na yan.

he was about to move his lips against mine pero nilayo ko agad yung sarili ko. i saw how chase my lips. "lets make a deal. you'll get to kiss me again only if you have to come with me sa falls. deal?"

that made the side of his lips rose up as his he arched me a brow. "what kind of deal was that, pretty? i know you'll want me to kiss you whenever you want."

"but not today!"

he was so persistent not to come with me sa falls as he kept saying he's tired pero nung iniba ko yung deal na he cannot have sex with me later until tomorrow kung di sya sasama sakin, ayun sumama na. he was even the one who guide me going downstairs tapos sya nadin nag-paddle to go the falls. i was laughing while i was sitting on the bamboo boat watching how he paddle us while he was glaring at me at kung kaya lang nyang irapan ako, ginawa nya na.
