The Warriors of Kyoshi (Part 2)

~Katara POV~

As we ate, Aang was really happy, Jinhai was eating one thing at a time while Sokka was in the corner complaining about how the girls kicked his butt yesterday.

Aang: These people sure know how to treat an Avatar! Katara, you gotta try this!

Kat: Okay, maybe just one bite.

Aang eyed Sokka as he ate.

Aang: Sokka, what's your problem? Eat!

Sokka turned around with an angry look.

Sokka: I'm not hungry.

Aang: But you're always hungry.

I was smirking as I decided to joke with him.

Kat: He's just upset because a bunch of girls kicked his butt yesterday.

Sokka: They snuck up on me!

Kat: Right, and then they kicked your butt.

Sokka: Sneak attacks don't count.

Jinhai: Well, if you had a brain like those girls, Sokka, you'd be dangerous.

I was laughing with Aang after Jinhai completely roasted my brother as he left and grabbed some food on the way out.

Aang: What's he so angry about?

Jinhai: In time, arrowhead, you'll know.

Aang: Arrowhead?

Jinhai: That's the nickname I came up with for you. You like it?

Aang: I kinda like it, I'll accept it for the time being. And it's great here. They're giving us the royal treatment.

Kat: Hey, don't get too comfortable, it's risky for us to stay in one place for very long.

Aang: I'm sure we'll be fine. Besides, do you see how happy I'm making this town? They're even cleaning the statue in my honor.

Jinhai: Well, it's nice to see you excited about being the Avatar.

Kat: Yeah, and we hope it doesn't all go to your head.

Aang: Come on, you know me better than that. I'm just a simple monk.

Jinhai: More like the ego taking over.

Aang: Why can't you let me show a humble side of me to the people?

Jinhai: I'm keeping it real.

He looked out the window to see girls squealing at Aang as he had a blush on his face. He eventually went out until it was just me and Jinhai together.

Jinhai: So, we should probably go to the market and buy some food for the trip.

Kat: Yeah, but you go on ahead and walk around. I can handle it.

Jinhai: Are you sure?

Kat: I'm sure.

I decided to get up, put on my coat and went to the market while Jinhai went and did his own thing.

~Jinhai POV~

While walking down the street, Aang and his fangirls were chasing him left and right while giving them a show of doing push-ups while airbending, which is really ticking me off because we can't stay here and his ego is getting the best of him.
