Chapter Two: The Beauty Can Cook!

The theme song begins. "Five!" Thunderbird Five is shown in space. "Four!" Thunderbird Four is shown underwater. "Three!" Thunderbird Three is shown taking off into space. "Two!" Thunderbird Two is shown flying. "One." Thunderbird One is shown launching. The title is shown. Thunderbird One is shown again as Scott is shown standing in front of it. His name and Thunderbird One appear. Space Station/Thunderbird Five is shown as John is shown with his arms crossed over his chest. The words 'Space Monitor John Tracy' appears. Parts of Tracy Island are shown as Thunderbird Two is shown with Virgil and his name. Thunderbird Four is shown while Gordon is shown looking as if he's running. His name and Thunderbird Four is written out beside him. Thunderbird Three flies around before it stops, and Alan is shown standing with his arms crossed. His name along with the words Astronaut is shown. Kayo is shown with her Thunderbird Shadow as the words Covert Ops appear above her name. Light Flashes and Elaina is shown cheering as she had oven mitts on her hands while she had a supply belt on her hips as she held a whisk in one hand as she stood in the kitchen. She stood with a wink on her face as she had her tongue out. Light Flashes and Brains is shown standing beside his robot Max as his name and the word 'Engineer' are shown. Light Flashes and FAB ONE is shown before she appears with a hand on her hip as she stands with Parker and Sherbert. The words 'London Agent' appear with her name. Scenes from this chapter are shown before the title is shown again. "THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO!" Smoke covers the area as the title vanishes.

"I have a feeling that you'd be better off starving." Alan whispers to Elaina as Grandma Tracy wasn't quite out of hearing range. Elaina blinks confused and looks at Alan.

"Why would I be better off starving?" Elaina blurts out.

"What was that, young man?" Grandma Tracy scolds.

"N-Nothing, Grandma!" Alan exclaims loudly. Grandma Tracy fully leaves the room. Alan watches her and then he looks at Elaina.

"Grandma can't cook." Alan admits.

"She can't cook?" Elaina asks.

"But she always insists on cooking for us." Alan continues.

"Oh. I see." Elaina replies.

"I'm surprised that we aren't dead yet." Scott explains and Elaina looks over at him. Scott and Elaina's eyes meet one more time and Scott's cheeks flushes a pink color. He'd never seen such beautiful eyes. Elaina's cheeks darken as well as she looks away. She gulps as she loses all ability to breathe when she looks into Scott's eyes. She takes a moment to recover.

"Well, if there is one thing I can do, it's cook." Elaina announces, "I've studied to be a chef. My family hates the automated kitchen modules. We are old fashioned and since chefs are still used in professional restaurants, I've been wanting to bring the Fitzgerald family ways back into the kitchen." Elaina rambles a little. Virgil lets out a chuckle in hologram form.

"Well, you are a guest, we couldn't ask for you to cook for us." Virgil replies.

"Yes, we can. We absolutely can." Alan exclaims.

"You guys let me into your home, onto your island - sure it was accidentally, but still and Grandma Tracy loaned me this beautiful dress out of an old but beautiful trunk, it's the least I can do." Elaina tells them. Scott's eyes widened in shock.

"Old trunk? Y-You don't mean that you're wearing one of our mother's dresses, do you?" Scott asks. He thought he recognized it. His eyes filled with tears as he didn't think anyone would wear it after their mother died, but he thought Elaina looked beautiful in it.

"Your mother's? I'm so sorry. Y-Your grandmother just put me in it. I didn't have a say. I'm so sorry. I'll have it cleaned and returned to you." Elaina squeaks out.
