The theme song begins. "Five!" Thunderbird Five is shown in space. "Four!" Thunderbird Four is shown underwater. "Three!" Thunderbird Three is shown taking off into space. "Two!" Thunderbird Two is shown flying. "One." Thunderbird One is shown launching. The title is shown. Thunderbird One is shown again as Scott is shown standing in front of it. His name and Thunderbird One appear. Space Station/Thunderbird Five is shown as John is shown with his arms crossed over his chest. The words 'Space Monitor John Tracy' appears. Parts of Tracy Island are shown as Thunderbird Two is shown with Virgil and his name. Thunderbird Four is shown while Gordon is shown looking as if he's running. His name and Thunderbird Four is written out beside him. Thunderbird Three flies around before it stops, and Alan is shown standing with his arms crossed. His name along with the words Astronaut is shown. Kayo is shown with her Thunderbird Shadow as the words Covert Ops appear above her name. Light Flashes and Elaina is shown cheering as she had oven mitts on her hands while she had a supply belt on her hips as she held a whisk in one hand as she stood in the kitchen. She stood with a wink on her face as she had her tongue out. Light Flashes and Brains is shown standing beside his robot Max as his name and the word 'Engineer' are shown. Light Flashes and FAB ONE is shown before she appears with a hand on her hip as she stands with Parker and Sherbert. The words 'London Agent' appear with her name. Scenes from this chapter are shown before the title is shown again. "THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO!" Smoke covers the area as the title vanishes.
[Thunderbird Four]
Gordon was headed towards the location when he heard a strange beeping sound in the sonar. Gordon looks at it and he gets a curious look on his face. That shouldn't be down there. He hits the button to contact Thunderbird Five.
"Thunderbird Five, have a look at my sensors, will ya? They're picking something up, and so is my famous Gordon Tracy squid sense." Gordon calls out.
"Your focus needs to be on that research station, Thunderbird Four, not your squid sense." John scolds.
[Tracy Island]
Elaina returns to the room with a small plate of cookies for Scott as she hears the communication.
"Uh, John, I'm detecting a YT-88 transponder beacon." Gordon announces.
"What's a YT-88 transponder beacon?" Elaina asks.
"Really? That's the same kind Dad had on his ship." Scott announces.
"Jeff Tracy?" Elaina asks as she knew the story of his disappearance eight years ago.
"I know this is important Gordon, but can it wait until after we deal with the station?" Virgil asks.
"Not if it gets buried in another quake." Gordon responds, "The signal's coming from inside a fault trench."
"Gordon should check it out, just to be sure." Scott orders.
"Might I recommend being careful." Elaina asks.
"F-A-B, CEC, Elaina." Gordon states with a smirk on his face. Elaina rolls her eyes.
[Thunderbird Four]
Gordon changes his course to head towards the Fault trench. Soon he enters the fault trench and Gordon looks around. It was a little dark in the trench which was more like a cave. The signal gets stronger.
"I'm inside. The signal's getting stronger." Gordon exclaims as he heads deeper. He looks around.
"I've got a visual on something." Gordon says, "I'm going in for a closer look." He moves them extremely close and he looks down sadly.
"Negative. It's not Dad's..." Gordon announces to the ground.
"I'm sorry, Gordon." Elaina's voice explains.
