Chapter Five: The Phantom Man Known As The Hood!

The theme song begins. "Five!" Thunderbird Five is shown in space. "Four!" Thunderbird Four is shown underwater. "Three!" Thunderbird Three is shown taking off into space. "Two!" Thunderbird Two is shown flying. "One." Thunderbird One is shown launching. The title is shown. Thunderbird One is shown again as Scott is shown standing in front of it. His name and Thunderbird One appear. Space Station/Thunderbird Five is shown as John is shown with his arms crossed over his chest. The words 'Space Monitor John Tracy' appears. Parts of Tracy Island are shown as Thunderbird Two is shown with Virgil and his name. Thunderbird Four is shown while Gordon is shown looking as if he's running. His name and Thunderbird Four is written out beside him. Thunderbird Three flies around before it stops, and Alan is shown standing with his arms crossed. His name along with the words Astronaut is shown. Kayo is shown with her Thunderbird Shadow as the words Covert Ops appear above her name. Light Flashes and Elaina is shown cheering as she had oven mitts on her hands while she had a supply belt on her hips as she held a whisk in one hand as she stood in the kitchen. She stood with a wink on her face as she had her tongue out. Light Flashes and Brains is shown standing beside his robot Max as his name and the word 'Engineer' are shown. Light Flashes and FAB ONE is shown before she appears with a hand on her hip as she stands with Parker and Sherbert. The words 'London Agent' appear with her name. Scenes from this chapter are shown before the title is shown again. "THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO!" Smoke covers the area as the title vanishes.

[Tracy Island]

The group returns and Elaina sets the food to a slow cook. She didn't think this night was finished. She knew that the boys were starving though. She knew it'd be late when they finally got to eat. Gordon sets what he found on the holo-table. Elaina raises an eyebrow at it.

"Welcome home." Grandma Tracy states.

"Oh, welcome back." Kayo states.

"Good to have you back." Brains explains.

"Well, what do you think?" Gordon asks as Scott sits down beside Elaina and she blushes. Scott gives her a gentle smile.

"I think you found where sea junk goes to die." Alan explains.

"Alan." Elaina says with a giggle while she shakes her head.

"It is rather crudely made." Brains says and Virgil yawns. Elaina looks at Brains as he speaks.

"I'll begin my analysis immediately." Brains says and there is a beeping sound. John appears in hologram form with Penelope and Parker attached to the conversation but they were just listening in at the moment.

"International Rescue, I'm picking up seismic activity like I've never seen before." John explains, "Multiple earthquakes all under the sea. Epicenters are equal distances apart and they're going off in sequence."

"In sequence?" Elaina asks, curiously.

"Earthquakes t-typically don't work like that." Brains replies, "This is highly unusual."

"I'm telling you, it's because someone is causing them on purpose with these things." Gordon exclaims.

"Why would someone want to cause an earthquake? It's 2060. That's not the kind of world we live in." Virgil points out.

"I'm afraid it might be, Virgil." Penelope explains as she appears in hologram form, "It was made with off-the-shelf components, according to my expert."

"Expert?" Scott asks with a raised eyebrow. Elaina looks at Scott as he speaks and then looks back at Penelope.

"That would be me, sir." Parker says appearing, "Quite a brisk trade for these bits on the black market. So, I'm told."
