Was I supposed to really find her in Limbo? I couldn't leave that far off, not without Lucas. I felt something compelling me towards that destination. How would I get there?

This wasn't even up for consideration. There is no way I could travel to a place my head would likely be cut off. "Think fly. Quinn, how can I meet you?"

"Raf, I will be waiting you on the curb next to your hotel in an hour. Be there on time or I will have to leave without you," she still wanted me to go. I just want to talk to her about her assumptions. As much as it kills me, I need to know what her side of the story is and why she confuses me.

**

I arrived 5 minutes before she told me. I waited patiently for her arrival, which was exactly when she said she would be here. "Raf, I need to talk to you, as you want to talk to me as well. Not here. I need to give you something that belongs to you anyways. I have it in Limbo," I saw many reasons not to trust her, but something pushed me to give into her.

I had no intention on trusting her after what she did to Lucas, but I wanted answers. I would succeed at getting them as well.

She held her hand out for me to hold. She was a neutral one, so there would be no VETO to break. I took her hand, and with a flash, I stood in the place I had been taken to previously. I checked my surroundings. "Reina isn't here. She is with Maliki."

I nodded. Poor Maliki. I needed to find him some way out. "What is this thing of mine that you have?"

"I think I should explain a bit first, then you will get it. First of all, I had no desire to hurt you. Never did I want to control you. I know your aware of what happened Lucas. He was a part of my past. He was my partner, but his power wasn't as strong as mine. I decided to use him for my childish wants. I hurt him in the process, but I gained more power in the outcome. Being neutral, I can possess the powers of an angel, and a devil."

"Lucas, on the other hand, killed that first human without being under my control. He had an accident. The first was a woman named Annabelle. She was a beautiful sight. She was envied by all her peers and caught the eye of a young Lucas."

"He was so astonished by her, he fell in love. If you think falling in love with a devil is bad towards society, falling in love with a human is even more difficult. He was in mad love. The poor girl had no idea what she had gotten into. Lucas had become obsessed with being by this girl's side. He told her what he was."

"The High Spears didn't appreciate Lucas spilling the entire universes secret of evolution. Angels inhabited the earth many, many years ago. God had sent an angel that was trying to overpower him into the dark, and Lucifer was known as the first devil. His armies grew, multiplied until it was strong enough to take on the angels. God, had created the high spears and vanished. He left them in a god, like charge. They fought the war accordingly. As you probably know, no one won the war. The war over who ruled the humans lasted a couple centuries. Cedric wants to recreate this war in an attempt to make Lucifer happy, and hopes to get him out of rest."

"Anyways, Lucas's girl, had to have her memory erased, which meant, she wouldn't remember him. He wouldn't have it, and he took charge. The high spears had to take her and execute her, and Lucas volunteered to do it himself. Honestly, we aren't sure if he killed her, but he was in such a vulnerable state, that I took control, and you know the rest." She was out of breath by the time she finished. It was a lot to take in and consider.

Her story was so detailed, I had no choice but to believe her. "I think I understand. Lucas was in love with a human, which is why he wanted to kill her himself. He killed her for love. It kind of makes me wonder how she felt." I was questioning this entire story. Was the feeling mutual? Was she willing to die for them to be together? All questions had no answer anyone but Lucas could give.

"Anyways, I think I have something of yours. I found him trying to escape from Cedric, and kept him safe for you," she led me down a dark path. It was like an upgraded cave, with lights shining through tiny holes.

"Wow, this place is incredible!" although I knew this was Reina's doing, it was still a sight to see. Technology spread across the entire floor. Some that angles haven't even seen yet. It was amazing.

"Blue built it," her voice was stern. Blue had been killed by Reina. "Over here."

I saw what I thought I would ever see again. His hazel eyes drew me in, and I could feel myself about to fall into his arms and cry. I could feel the pieces that had broken, falling back together. Quinn started casting a spell, "Concatenata eam."

Quinn! She had chained me to the wall next to Sulfus. He spoke no words, like he was scared. I was scared for the both of us now. "I was ordered to keep you both here. Reina has something to retrieve from Callie. Don't get me wrong, what I told you was all true," she smirked.

Callie! Zane! Their child! They were all in horrible danger and I had no way to warn them. Sulfus hadn't left me, he was taken by Quinn and Reina.

"Who's plan?" I asked.

"You think Reina has the power to pull anything like this off. She is so weak compared to me. I was behind everything. This is my plan. You were right to trust Lucas. You should have listened to him. He would have saved you. The two of you might be able to take me on," she laughed.

"I knew I had no reason to ever trust you. I had doubts from the beginning, but I gave you a chance," I sighed.

"You give too many chances," with that she walked away. I was stunned. I had no idea that she could pull this off. I trusted her.

"Sulfus!" I had almost forgot he was next to me. Quinn was distracting me.

"Raf," he smiled. "I'm glad you're ok. Reina and Maliki went for Callie and Zane's child. They left about an hour ago. I know Callie is in labor, but can't reach a hospital. Quinn wants Reina to take advantage of that. I'm so happy to know your safe," his voice was rough.

"I'm glad you didn't leave. I had my doubts, but they are reassured with your presence," I smiled.

"You and your half-brother," he wasn't mad, he even laughed. He knew, but how?

"How do you know that? Oh god. It was just like twice and-"

"I'm not mad, I just find it amusing. You were hurt, I understand. I'm just surprised you turned to him," he was laughing again. I was blushing. "I don't think I've seen you blush in such a long time at anything I've said. It's cute." Even bound by these chains, Sulfus made my heart flutter.

"I suppose it has been a while. We need to figure this out. We have to get out, and save them," I started getting myself into a panic. Sulfus tried to reach his hand to touch me until he barely slid a finger down my arm. It made me quiver, but felt so good.

"For right now, let's just be here together, even if we can't touch. I love you Raf," his voice was so sweet, I almost started to cry. I was lonely when he was gone. That was something Lucas couldn't fill.

"I love you, too," his smile gave me hope, in which I returned. I had always loved him, form the very first touch.

I was safe with Sulfus, but I had no idea what was in store. I couldn't prepare myself for the unknown. Callie and Zane had it coming. Her child would be ripped from her. I knew the same would happen to me. I had less than 3 months. I could feel it. I would have to prepare myself for absolutely anything. Quinn was strong, but I could win. I knew it. My heart told me.
