I laid unable to move. I felt as if my whole body was shutting down. I couldn't breathe. Where was I?
Sulfus sat in his room watching a blank TV. Callie and Zane were sitting away from him giving his space. He couldn't think strait, and it was too obvious.
"What do you think we should do, angel?" Zane asked. Callie looked at him and was about to speak but put her lips together before saying anything irrational. She looked down then looked at Zane.
"For now, we let him be, but we need to form a plan to try and get Raf," she said.
"How the hell should we do that exactly? We don't even know where she is." Zane asked. Callie shrugged her shoulders, and looked over at Sulfus who sat looking at his phone. The screen was blank as he stared into space.
"I have no idea how to help him right now," Callie sighed.
"Help"
"Did you hear that," Callie jumped. Zane looked around and Sulfus stood.
"Hear what?" Zane said
"Help me, Callie"
Callie let out a scream, and kneeled down holding on to her head. She looked up for a quick second. something wrapped its arms around her. "Who the hell is saying that," she whispered the Zane. He deeply hugged he tighter and brought her back to her feet, but backed away feeling the shock again.
"What did you hear?" Sulfus said. Zane backed off, and Callie looked up.
"I think it might be Raf," she calmed down. Sulfus took her arm, and looked into her eyes. He backed up when they both felt the shock.
"Can you hear anything else?" she focused for a minute. She was about to speak, but she collapsed to the ground. They felt the shock again, and Callie could hear the voices. She started to cringe up into a ball screaming.
Zane wanted to help, but knew he would only cause more pain. They heard a knock on the door, and heard, "Is there a problem in here, I am getting complaints," a lady in her maybe 40's said. Callie screed again and we tried to calm her down, but was unsuccessful. Zane couldn't be there we she really needed him, and Sulfus felt the same about Raf.
We heard a key going through and the door flew open. "What the hell is going on in here? I apologize for ruining whatever screaming is coming from here, but stop it. Are you alright?" she said facing Callie walking towards here.
They both let out a scream and backed away from each other. "What was that? You think she is a devil?" Sulfus whispered to Zane. He opened his mouth to reply, but quickly closed it like he was unsure how to answer.
The lady looked towards us and I saw a small smile creep across her face. "I thought that was you, and now that I have felt the shock with her, now I know," she said taking Zane for a hug. Zane looked mesmerized, but wrapped one arm back.
"I'm sorry I let you leave, and now I have found you again. I realize that Devils aren't supposed to believe in fate, but I certainly do now," she grabbed Zane tighter. Zane felt it, and let a small smile take his face.
"Sulfus, Callie, this is Steph, my mother," Zane said. Callie looked, and instantly recognized her. She sighed thinking about their past. Steph had pulled away from Zane as soon as she knew we had developed feelings for one another, and he left.
They talked about the entire situation, and where Reina could have gone. They talked about how to get Raf back, and they discussed recent life updates. Zane seems to be instantly happy, and smiled frequently during the conversation. Callie had always wondered what she could do to make him happy, and now he had it. She was sad that should couldn't get near any of them, but she was happy for the guy she loved.
