I was fast asleep in my hospital room. Sulfus would look over at me every few minutes just to make sure I was doing better than the previous minutes. Callie and Zane were in the waiting room because the space was limited. I was dreaming about Sulfus's perfect hazel eyes. The way his hair just flips perfectly, and the way his lips lightly pierce mine.
I felt his hand grab mine, and somehow I felt it and grabbed back. I slowly opened my eyes, and looked into those hazel eyes I had just dreamed about. "Sulfus," I said opening my eyes.
"Hey, Raf. You're awake. The doctor said after you wake up, you can go home," he said.
"I'm feeling better. I think I'm ready to move on. Away from my friends, and the Golden School," I said.
"Are you sure?" Sulfus said.
"I'm sure. More so than I have ever been," I said.
He brought me in for a hug, and I never shed a tear. I forced my thoughts into a real smile. The fact that I had two people that understood me, and Sulfus who I loved, and loved me back. I had never understood why it was so wrong, to love Sulfus that was. The only true difference in the two of us was that I had a halo, and he had horns.
"Could you go get Callie and Zane?" I said.
"Sure. Do you need some fresh air?" he asked.
"That might be nice," I said. He helped me out of bed, and let me walk myself.
"I'm going to go outside for a second," I said.
"I will be right in the waiting room, and be careful, ok?" he said.
"Ok," I said, and kissed him on the cheek.
He walked down the hallway, and I walked the other way. I opened the door, and sat on the stone bench. "Raf, I need to speak to you," a lady said, and I turned. Quinn was standing there leaned against the wall. Her nose was bleeding badly like she had been hit.
"I just wanted to warn you Reina is coming. She has escaped from her chains she was bound in, and her dark energy is becoming noticeable to some angels," she started.
"Why are you telling me this now?" I said still shivered by her presence.
"Because she is coming for your child. I realize you have no reason to believe me, but if it were mine, I would want to know. My father is even worried about you," she said.
"Your father? Quinn, who is your father?" I asked.
"You really don't know? It's an unimportant to you, but you will find out. I can guarantee you will, someday," she said, and just as I was about to open my mouth, she vanished.
"Raf, are you ok? You have been out here for a while," Sulfus said from the doorway.
"Yes. Quinn was here," I said frowning.
"Why the hell was that bitch here? What the hell did she want with you?" he said grabbing my hand.
"All she told me that Reina was coming for us; well our child," I said leaving out the part of her father. Who could he be? Why does she have to keep it from me if it doesn't have to do anything with me? Unless it had everything to do with me. I just dropped the idea after a while.
"Don't let it worry you. I will protect you at all costs," he said giving me a hug. He tilted my chin up, and was kissing me. He was so passionate, and I knew he really loved me. He held my hand, and walked me in.
"Are you all ready to go? I checked Raf out, and she is perfectly healthy now," Callie said.
"Thanks Callie. Where are we going to go?" I asked.
