"Here's your keycard and schedule, your dorm hall is Wright Hall and your dorm number is 212." The lady said giving me my keycard and schedule.
I thanked her before walking out to the dormitories with Jai.
I grew a bit nervous every second we got closer to my dorm. I forgot that I'll have a dormmate and the thought of that lowkey scares me because that's a whole random person I'll be living with for a whole year.
"I can smell the nervousness on you, just relax, and chill for a bit. I'm sure this person is nice asf" Jai said rubbing my back to comfort me.
It took us about 20 minutes to get to Wright Hall. Now I'm here standing in front of the door scared to open it not knowing what to expect on the other side of it.
I take a deep breath and scan my card to open the door. As soon as the door opens I'm shocked by how the dorms actually look.
I'm met with a couch facing the wall by the door and on that wall is a flatscreen tv that's mounted in with a small stand under it. As I walk further in the house I notice that both room doors are on each side of the dorm with the kitchen in the middle so we each have privacy.
"Im not gon lie this is nice. This all you? It's better than my dorm when I first started and I stayed in Bullock Hall" My sister said looking around the house.
I laughed a bit before going to the room with my name on it. I opened the door revealing a medium sized bed with a small desk by it.
I gave my sister a look asking her to help unpack and decorate my room. She looked like she was about to say no but rolled her eyes and helped anyways.

By the time we were done it was 6pm. My sister was in the living room waiting for me since we decided to go to a small cafe down the street from campus.
I decided to take a shower and change into a black and white cardigan, black cargo pants, a black beanie, and my rick owens. I added silver jewlery and some glasses to match.
I sprayed perfume and looked at myself in the mirror for a bit before leaving the room.
As I was leaving the room I noticed that my doormmate still hasn't arrived. Hopefully I'll meet her before classes start so it won't be awkward.
