It's been a week and the more I hang out with Jai's friends, the more I realize how much Robyn doesn't like me. She always seems so mad at me for some reason. Thank goodness she wasn't here with us right now.
Gio doesn't really talk to me that much still. Which I don't mind since she seems like she's always been like that and I'm not really one to judge.
The more I'm around Gio, the more Jai's words replay in my mind.
"Jae? Are you good? Did you hear us?" Zia asked snapping her fingers in my face.
"Huh? What happened? What were we talking about?" I said genuinely confused not wanting to lie and embarrass myself.
"Woah you were zoned out for a while there, what were you thinking about?" Suki asked teasing me.
I gave her a small smile and shook my head at her teasing.
"We were talking about this party that's happening tonight and was asking if you were coming since your sister's going" Zai said before nudging my sister's shoulder who was so invested in her phone.
"Uh yeah I'll go." I said shrugging. I wasn't too big on parties but now that I'm in college I might as well have fun. What could go so wrong.
"OMG! I'm coming over to help with the outfits" Suki squealed out in excitement. I laughed a lil at her energy.
"Gio, you going?", Zia asked Gio who was now listening to our conversation. She shrugged before actually speaking.
"I might", She said before looking at me for a second and going back on her phone.
Her voice wasn't so low this time. Her voice was kind of raspy and soft at the same time. It sounded very pretty. Now I want to hear her talk more.
I turned to Suki who was sitting right next to me and whispered, "Has she always been this quiet?" I said before looking at Gio one more time.
