Damon's POV

I paced back and forth, waiting for Hayes to come out of Blaine's room. He's been in there for a while and I got nervous.

The things we talked about were intense and I don't want Hayes to know about them just yet.

Brett is sitting in one of the chairs outside the room and my blood started to boil.

Why would Hayes kiss him?

I stalked up to him and gripped the front of his shirt.

His eyes widened and the fear added on to my thirst for power.

"Stay away from Hayes. You can be friends and all, but nothing more." I dropped his shivering frame.

"Got it?" I glared back at him.

"Y-yeah..." his voice trembled.

I nod.

Hayes finally came out of the room and walked up to Brett.

"I have to go get some stuff for Blaine so can you stay here with him please."

He nodded and went into the room.

I eyed Hayes then followed behind him from a distance.

"If you're going to follow me, stop trying to be unnoticeable. You can be seen from a mile away." He scoffed and I sped up to meet his pace.

"This is why I'll never be a stalker."

He walked out of the building and stopped.

"Shit!" He muttered.

"What?"

"I don't have a car."

"I can take you. I was coming anyways."

He motioned for me to lead so I did and he followed closely behind.

He got in my car and I started driving to his house.

"Umm... I've got to go to the store, not my house." He said.

"Oh, okay." I turned and headed to the mall.

"Not that store! It's too expensive!"

"Then I'll buy it."

"No, go to a different store."

"Get out of the car Hayes." I got out of the car and started walking in.

"Damon!" He caught up with me.

Hayes guided me to Michel's.

He picked up a decent sized sketch book, drawing pencils, shadings sticks, and a pack of multicolored sharpies in various sizes.

I carried the supplies and we walked up to the register.

Hayes went to pay but I stopped him.

I handed the man the money and he handed Hayes the bag.

"I could have paid for that."

"I know but I paid anyways." I shrugged.

"Well, let's get going." Hayes seemed a little frustrated and I smirked.

We got in the car and Hayes paged through the stuff I bought.

"You didn't have to buy this."

"It's too late Hayes. Get over it."

He rolls his eyes and looked out the window.

When we pulled up at the hospital Hayes jumped out and practically ran inside.
