DAMON'S POV

I drove home, persuading myself I would tell my parents about Hayes and I's relationship.

When I stepped into the house my mom called me to the living room.

"Honey, why the hell would you bring a fag to our holy home?" She spat.

"Mom. Why can't you treat a human being with decency?" I growled and my father stepped in.

A burn formed on my cheek and I glared at them.

"You will not speak to your mother like that." He pursed his lips and I swallowed.

My jaw clenched and I wanted to talk back to them.

"Mother, father, I have something to inform you on."

They eyed me, expecting me to continue.

"H-Hayes... he's my uh... he's my boyfriend."

My mom's face paled the she started laughing.

"You really scared me." She laughed.

"I'm serious."

Her smile faded and see stared at me.

"Y-you can't be one of them!"

"You're a disgusting creature from hell! Leave this house!" My father's voice boomed.

"No, you are." I snarled in a calm manor.

"Leave! you are not my son!" My mother screeched.

"Whatever." I rolled my eyes and slammed the door behind me.

I got in my car and started driving away, calling Hayes.

"Hello?"

"Hey Hayes...I kind of told my parents about us."

"And?"

"They kicked me out." I sighed.

"Y-you could stay here. With me. And Blaine. Blaine likes you." He rambled.

I smiled a little.

"You sure? I don't want to be in the way."

"Yes Damon."

"I'm serious, Hayes, I don't want to be a problem."

"I've already got 99, what's one more?" I chuckled at his reference to the song.

"I'm on my way now." I hung up after that.

I pulled up in front of the apartment building. Hayes was already standing outside, waiting.

I got out and walked up to him. He opened his mouth to say something but I didn't let him.

My hands were on both side of his face and I put my mouth on his.

He smiled and kissed back.

"I'm so sorry." He caressed my cheek when we pulled apart.

"It's okay. I would have realized it eventually." I shrugged. "But, I'm glad you're the one that made me realize it."

He smiled and I kissed him again.

"Aww!" Two females gushed.

I pulled away and looks at the two girls on the sidewalk.

Hey! They are in our gym class! The ones that sit on the bleachers on their phones and do nothing.

My face flushed.

"Isn't that the nerd and Damon Xavier?" One grinned, her eyes widened.

"Fuck! Uh... hey girls! Um. Don't tell anyone at school!" I rushed and my face grew hot.

"No problem!" They smiled.

"I think it's amazing that you two are so open with your relationship and not caring what anyone thinks." The one with the blue tips smiled.

The other one smiled and nodded.

"Uh... wow okay umm-"

"Thanks." Hayes smiled.

"You wanna hang sometime?" The girl with blue tips asked. The girl with brown hair seemed quieter and not as confident.

"Sure, you seem cool." Hayes nodded and I held onto his hand.

The girl nodded and they started to walk away.

"Wait! What are you names?"

They stopped and the girl with blue tips spoke.

"I'm Cora and she's Blaire."

The walked away with us staring at their backs.

"You know, I never knew people supported gays." I shrugged.

"You were raised with homophobic parents." He reminded me.

"True. Come on, let's go inside."

I led him inside his apartment and I fell onto the couch, pulling Hayes beside me.

I wrapped my arm around his waist and nuzzled my nose in his neck.

He leaned up and turned on the TV.

Hayes rested on my chest and I closed my eyes.

I could get used to this. I sighed in happiness.

"Don't go to sleep, I'm not tired."

I smiled and pecked his lips.

We watched television while resting with each other.

"Do you have any alcohol?" I asked curiously.

"Maybe." He teased.

"So you do?"

"Maybe."

"Hayes, give me an answer."

"Yes."

"Okay, can you get me a beer?"

"You're too young to drink."

"Says the one that has beer in his fridge while in high school."

"Oh shut up." He sat up and walked away.

He came back with two bottles.

I easily popped mine open and he did too.

We sat there, sipping the alcohol and watching television.

Hayes' phone started to ring.

He pulled it out of his pocket, answering it.

"Hello?"

Silence.

"Really? That's amazing." He smiled.

Silence.

"Thank you for calling."

He hung up the phone and shoved it back in his pocket.

"Who was that?"

"The hospital. They said we can pick up Blaine tomorrow after we get out of school."

"That's amazing!" I smiled and hugged him.

He grinned and hugged me back.

It was late, 1:00 at least.

"Let's go to bed." I stood up and grabbed his hand.

I set my empty bottle down and pulled him to his room.

Our lips connected and out tainted breaths mixed.

We stripped and got into the bed.

My arm wrapped around his waist instantly and I kissed his neck.

"Goodnight." I whispered before falling asleep.
