FALLING IN LOVE AGAIN: UNEXPECTED MEET

CHAPTER 1

        In a beautiful decorated office, the sun beamed brightly through the transparent curtains. I was busy working on a design outlet on the dress that I have to submit before the end of the week. The company I work for dresses actresses and actors. Though I'm a subordinate in my department, I was always pressured to do more work because most of the designs I make are fascinating. I was also told not to make any mistakes in the work that I am doing.
     Just then Maya, my senior in my department, walked in and said " Gwen, how is the work going?"
     " It's going smoothly and thanks for asking, " I said.
      " We'll be needing your designs this week, so that we can submit it to our superior to analyze whether it would be good for the upcoming film, " she said.
     " I know and I'm almost done with it. By tomorrow you will see the designs" I said.
            " Ok" while walking out of the office and she turned and said " please don't stay up too late in the office, ok?"
          " Yes ma'am, I won't stay too long " I said while she walked out in a majestical way.
          Once I was done with my work, I stared at the dress. It's perfect, I said in my mind. I neatly wore the dress on the mannequin and placed it inside the small chamber in my office, I put my things in my bag. I went downstairs and walked straight to the park, hooped into my car and drove off to my house.

AT HOME

   I was busy in the kitchen preparing dinner for me and my roommate, her name is Jessica Gray. She is lively, beautiful and also a motivational speaker. When I suddenly had a call and the ID displayed 'My other me' who is Jessica. I picked up the call,
     " Hey Gwen, where are you now?" She asked
     I replied " I'm at home preparing dinner for us"
    Then she told me the most startling thing I would have not imagine in my life time
      "Gwen, Fred is on a date with someone "
      "You are lying to me right" I asked her
       " Gwen when have I lied to you about anything she said confidently, and she continued " if you don't believe me I'll take a picture of them now and send it to you"
       Some seconds later, she sent me a picture of my boyfriend and the girl he was with, in the picture I saw them kissing passionately. I was so shocked that my tummy ached.
       " Jess, where are you now" I asked.
     " I don't think it'll be good for you to come, just stay at home, ok"  she said
      " Jessica, tell me the freaking place you saw them before I face my anger towards you" I said while I off the stove and took my car keys.
    " They're at KTU restaurant and please don't do.. " before she could finish her sentence, I hung up.
      " I'm gonna kill you, Fred," I said in my mind.

KTU RESTAURANT

      " Darling, thanks for bringing me to this place. It seems good here"  the girl said.
      " Anything for you babe " a handsome guy said while looking at his beloved intensely. Then he ordered food for them to eat.
      While eating she stood up taking her leave
" Babe, I'm going to the washroom," She said.
    " Ok love but be quick the food isn't getting hot each seconds" I said.
    " Alright, love" she said.

      Meanwhile, I drove as fast as I could and while driving I  was also cursing Fred too. I reached the restaurant that Jess told me about, I walked into the restaurant with anger. Looking around, I  spotted my boyfriend on the right wing of the restaurant. Walking towards them, the girl I saw in the picture stood up and excused herself to the restroom. Fred was sitting down and smiling at his phone when I got close to him. I stood behind him and said " wow, what do we have here"
     He turned around looking at me, like he had seen a ghost. Then he said " babe, what are you doing here"
   " I'm here to have dinner with my boyfriend," I said as I sat down. " Gwen, you can't just come here and take the seat, I'm having dinner with someone"
    " Is that true or you are on a date with someone else" I took a good look at him as I studied his facial expressions. He's a big scumbag, I said in my mind.
      I just sat down looking at him and I showed him the picture of him and his date.
     " Who is she" I asked
  He looked paralyzed and said " I'm sorry Gwen I don't love you anymore, my heart belongs to someone else."
      " You're sorry that's all you have to say" I was trying to control my feelings but all I could feel right now is a maximum level of disgust, with this strange feeling all I wish I could do right now was to slap him on the face. I raised my hands to give him a tight slap on the face but instead of giving him a dirty and deserving slap across his motherf***ing face, I got slapped. Turning around to see who it was, it was the girl that he kissed, the bitch he cheated on while he was with me.
       I could sense tension between her eyes and just looked at her with a grin, and she said " never in your life would you ever raise your filthy hands on my.." before she could finish I slapped her back twice as hard as she'd to me. She looked at me with horror and I said  " that's what you deserve bitch and as for you Fred go rot in hell, FYI we're done."  He looked transfigured. I turned around and people in the restaurant stared at me with amusement, just then the girl shouted " you'll pay for what you have done and I'll make sure you reject your actions, do you hear me bitch?" I casually walked out, as if nothing happened but my heart was still in pain.              
     I tried to buckle up the negative feeling inside me, so I decided to go to the beach to clear out my mind. I still couldn't believe the one person I loved with all my heart could actually do this to me, surely that's why someone said that the world is filled with lots of surprises. I entered my car and drove to the beach
