FALLING IN LOVE AGAIN: UNEXPECTED MEET

Chapter 5

JASON'S MANSION

   I had only entered my house and the next thing I saw was unexpected. My mother was sat on the couch across me with a very serious face and a young lady wearing a tight fitted pencil gown sat on the opposite couch. I walked up to them while I had a bad feeling about her visitation and the girl got up. I ignored her and looked at Mom
   " What's the unexpected visit mom?" I asked
  " Is that how you welcome me, son?" She said 
   " How do you do Mom?" I asked her
      " I'm not ok " she winced
   " Why ?" I sat down and made gesture for the other lady to sit.
    " That's not the main topic now" she quickly look at the girl and turned to me.
  " You don't have manners, please get a glass of juice for this young lady " she told the maid, who was standing by the kitchen door. The maid quickly brought the juice and placed it on the table.
    I was still looking at my mom and the strange girl. Tired of everything, I got up to go to my room. As soon as I got into my room, I heard a knock.
       " Whose there?" I asked
   " Son, can we talk " Mom said.
    I dropped my things and opened the door. I walked past her and went straight to the study room. She seems to notice everything and followed me.
    " What's your deal Jason?" She said
    " Nothing" I said as I sat down.
   " You made everything uncomfortable downstairs and how are you going to get married with this attitude?" She said
   " Ok. Is that all?" I looked into her eyes
  " You're unbelievable" she scoffed " how on earth am I your mother?" She asked
   " Who's that stranger in my living room?" I asked while ignoring her question
  " Oh! She's Lucie Roland, the girl I'll love you to marry" she said confidently
   I rolled my eyes and thought about me getting married. Nope that's not happening, I told myself.
   " Thanks for your helping me search for a partner.." I stared at her and I could see the joy in her eyes " but I'm not interested" I smiled.
  " What! " She glared at me with disbelief.
    " I'm not interested. Mom, please can you take that girl out of my house and please don't bring up this topic" I walked to the shelf and picked up a book.
     " When will you get married then?" She asked
  I was already tired of the discussion, so I said " you'll know but don't bother me"
   Okay " she said and I watched her leave the study. I walked to the balcony and looked down, I could see her and the strange girl going.

  " How am I going to get this girl" I asked myself. I've been busy lately to plan things.
I picked my phone from the table and called Tim
   " Is there any update on the girl?" I asked
  " Yes sir"
      As soon he was done telling me everything i said " keep an eye on her ". I left what I was doing and got dressed to head out to the city club.

GWEN'S POV

CITY CLUB
   
   " I told you this was a idea" I felt disgust and regretted following her.
    " I know you are regretting now but there's no going back" Jess said
  I rolled my eyes and we sat by the bar counter. Jess ordered drinks and gave me one, " today feels great" she said in a loud tone.
   " Yeah" I mumbled while taking a sip of my drink.
   " Gwen, it tastes so good" she smiled.
     " Yeah" I had to admit I was really enjoying the drink. Jess and I drank more but I stopped because I don't want to really get drunk.
  Then I noticed Jess staring at something, I followed her gaze and it landed on a guy who was sipping his drink while staring back at Jess.
    " What's wrong with that dude?" She asked me
     " I don't know" I said.
  " He's coming" she said and I turned to see the guy was walking to our direction.
   "Sup ladies" he smirked.
   I only looked at him and threw my gaze to another direction but Jess answered him with " hi"
     " I was sitting across when I noticed you" he said. Great! I'm highly disgust right now, I said in my head.
   " Ok" Jess said
" I'm Anthony ad you are?" Anthony asked
" I'm Jessica" Jess said.
" What about you dear?" Anthony asked me
  " I'm nameless" I said.
" Okay, so Jessica can I dance with you?" He asked
   Jess turned to me for approval, as if I'm her mom. I shook my head in approval. She smiled and said " I'll be back"
     I watched her and Anthony move to the dance floor. I saw them dancing and smiling at each other. I started to feel disgust and I drank more drinks until I was fully drunk. I felt the urge to pee, so I went to the bathroom which was on the other side.
      I entered the bathroom, opened one of the stalls and did the deed. It was quite relieving while coming out of the bathroom, someone blocked me.
   " Hey, can you please step aside" I said.
  The person didn't but he just walked up to me and his movement made me walk backwards in fear.
   " Hey, are you deaf?" I tried to act cool but the guy keeps on moving forward.
  " I know karate" I said
" That's nice to know" the person said in an intimidating tone.
   " Step away from me" I positioned my arms in a defensive way.
   The person chuckle and said " you're mine"
   Before I could defend myself, he grabbed my waist and tried to kissed me. I tried to push him but he seems strong. Then I remembered a defensive skill, so I kicked him in the balls and pushed him. It worked because he was whining in pain.
    Running out of the bathroom, I looked around for Jess but I couldn't see her. All I had in mind was to go home and have my peace. I walked out of the club and I noticed my car was missing. Damn! I cursed, Jess left me.
      I walked forward looking for a taxi when I saw some people running to my direction, I looked closely and I could see the man that I kicked in the bathroom among them.
Oh no! I panicked and did the only thing I can do. I ran so fast, praying for a miracle.
    " You bitch!" The man yelled.
  I kept running until I saw a car coming to my facing my direction, I acted fast and stood in front of the car. Luckily it stopped, the driver was a man.
  " Sir please help me" I pleaded
     " What would I gain if I help you?" He asked
  " Anything" I turned around and I could see them not far away from me.
   " Do you mean it" he asked with his brow arched
   " Yes " I panicked again
   " Will you marry me? " he asked calmly
Without wasting time, I opened the door and sat down with the door closing.
   " Drive, I'll marry you " I said.
