FALLING IN LOVE AGAIN: UNEXPECTED MEET

Chapter 8

NIGHT

Somewhere in New York City

    A man was lying down with two naked women beside him, who were particularly drawing imaginary lines on his chest. He was pondering about something when he got up and yelled at the women.
  " Get out!" He seemed furious but one of the ladies said " Darling don't be stressed when I'm here, just lie down and enjoy the moment" trying her best to comfort him.
    " Don't make me repeat myself f**king bitches " the man said furiously.
    With that both ladies left him alone. He got up from the bed, took some cigarettes out of his pocket and lit it. He walked to the balcony in the room and let out a smoke.
    " I'm coming for you little bunny" the man laughed hysterically and continued to smoke.

Gwen's POV

  The next day
       I hadn't gathered the courage to tell Jessica what happened two nights ago. I only lied to her about a random girl helping me because someone was trying to force himself on me. Now I'm feeling somehow and I really need to tell her the whole ordeal.
       Our routine was still the same, waking up, split chores, preparing breakfast, going to bathe and finally eating, then going to church it seems it's Sunday. Yeah, I'm not a church goer but I do believe in the preaching of Christ. Jess and I don't go like that but after the last visit of Jess grandma, Granny Grey. She taught us it was an obligation to go to church and serve God in truth and spirit, then gave us a warning that she'd call us once we got back. We thought she'd forget but it seems she was hell bent on the words she said. Now, we're in church and things got worse cause the pastor preached about truthfulness and yesterday I lied to Jess. I'm such a sinner, I said in my mind. It's not as if I haven't done bad things but lying to Jess makes me feel somehow. I'll tell her everything when we get home, I cooled my mind down with that.

      I crashed the couch as I lazily entered the house and dropped my bag on the floor.
    " Today seems good," Jess said with a smile.
   " Yeah, very nice" I grabbed a pillow and snuggled it.
   " What should we do today?" Jess asked me.
  " I don't know" I said while sniffing the smell of the pillow, so comfy. I smiled while closing my eyes.
   " Gosh! You're so boring" Jess said, picking up my bag and taking her own into the room. Geez, I need courage, I said in my mind.
      I heard a beep from my phone and glanced at it. Who the fuck is bothering me now, I said in my head. I looked at the phone and saw a message from a strange number.

  " Remember to pack up your wife cause you're starting to stay with me from Tuesday. Goodnight wife."
  
       After reading it, I got goosebumps all over my body and I imagined staying with him. Gosh, why did I do this to myself? I asked myself while my face was down.
I heard some footsteps coming, I'm going to tell her. I sat up and told Jess to sit.
  " I hope nothing is bothering you " Jess said in a worried tone
    " Ummm Jess, you remember Friday night at the city club" I said
   " Yeah, what happened " Jess looked at me " don't tell me you got laid cause I'm getting mad at you right now "
      " Jess don't panic or attack me " I gave her a pleading eye
   She only cooled down and said" fine and I promise not to be rash"
      I sighed in relief and said " I got married yesterday"
    " You must be kidding. I mean it, you're in need of a man." I rolled my eyes." Don't worry I'll find someone suitable for you " she winked at me.
   " I'm not joking Jess " I stood up from the couch and went into my room. I came back with paper in my hand. She stared at my arm and said " what's that in your hand?"
     I hesitated about giving her the document then she swiftly grabbed it and glanced at it. I looked at her as she read what was written on it and her eyes widened then turned to me in disbelief.
   " Gwen, is this real?" She questioned
" Yes. And I'll be moving out on Tuesday evening " I said not wanting to break down
   " Do you really want this?" She sounded concerned
   " Yes " I lied
" Ok " I heard her sighed " come here baby love " she opened her arms wide for a hug. I stared at her in disbelief because I was expecting her crazy side like always.
   " Aren't you going to hug me?" I snapped back to reality and quickly embraced her.
     After hugging her, she pulled away and started typing something on her phone. I got up and turned on the TV while playing a Korean film titled ' THE WITCH '.
       " I just ordered burritos, hamburgers and some chicken" I heard her say.
   " Ok" I was totally interested in the film more that I only answered her that way.
     " Omg! This is unbelievable " Jess exclaimed
   I turned to her and returned my gaze back to the TV, what's wrong with her I said in my mind. Then I felt a hand poking me on my shoulder, I ignored her but it became worse.
   " What is it?" I gave her a killer glare
" See what I saw on the internet " Jess grinned
" Not interested, so can I watch my film cause you're ruining my moment " I said
    She automatically placed the phone in my phone and said " you'll be interested now "
   Snatching the phone from her hands, I glanced at what she wanted me to see. I widened my eyes when I saw Jason's name. I intensely read it and looked at Jess in awe.
    " Tell me how you got a freaking billionaire to marry you?" She grinned
   I looked at it and read read it again
Jason Feyers borned into the most affluent family in New York. He's 29 and has no interest in love. He's an ignoble bachelor who owns a fashion industry, five mega hotels, an amusement park and tons of factories.
        I gulped everything and turned to Jess and told her everything.

    I was preparing to sleep when I got a call and it displayed ' Douchebag ' which is my brother, Max.
    " Good evening douchebag" I said
" Sup Godzilla" Max said
    " Did you miss me?" I joked
" I think so of Godzilla. Can we meet up tomorrow when you're free " Max said
   " Sure " I said
" Thanks and see you soon. Don't miss me much " Max said
    I scoffed and said ". I won't dear "
   With that I hung up the call and lay down.
