FALLING IN LOVE AGAIN: UNEXPECTED MEET

CHAPTER 2

 Gwen's POV

     As I got to the beach, I couldn't hold it up any longer. Just then I released all my resentment and shouted on top of my lungs

        " Fred Roland, I hate you so much. Go rot in hell, I f**cking hate you Fred" I inhaled and exhaled trying not to break down on the beach and I continued

     "do you hear me, I Gwen Mark hates you so much and you ain't worthy of my love, you cheating scumbag ". Just then I lost my balance and fell on the ground in a kneeling posture, bent my head down and cried as much as I can. 

       Suddenly, I heard a sound coming close to me, I didn't care to look at whom it was. Then the person sat beside me and said "It's ok just let it out" it was a man voice. 

   Due to the voice, I cried loudly, hugged the man and said " why me?"

       His hands patted my back and for some reason my tears gradually died down. Then I released myself from the stranger's embrace and I felt embarrassed, which made me look downwards. Just as I was about to say something, I felt a warm hand caressing my delicate face and he said " My mom told me not to talk to strangers, but I'll make an exception for you." 

    " Oh! Ok" I looked towards the dazzling sea, it was so beautiful as the moon and stars shone on it.

       "Can you tell me what the magnet said to the fridge?" The stranger said.

       I turned to him looking into his face. I couldn't see he's face.

  " I don't know" staring at him.

   " You're attractive" the stranger said looking into my eyes, I felt as if he was trying to read my mind. Just then the word he uttered hit me, what he thought I was attractive after I cried like a big baby on his shoulder.

    " What!" I stared at him with a questioning look.

   " I meant that the magnet is attracted to the fridge" he smiled at me.

   " Oh, I thought you meant something else " my gaze went straight to the sand.

    " You are beautiful when you don't cry," the stranger said, looking at me with great confidence.

   I could not believe that at this moment someone found me beautiful. I turned to him and said " thanks for everything and I'm sorry for disturbing you with my problem" 

      " It's no biggie and you didn't disturb my peace at all " he said and I sensed sincerity from him. We talked more and I enjoyed his company, it was so relieving that I could let all the bad feeling go.

      I stood up and looked towards the dazzling sea, it was so amazing as the moon and stars shone on it. Unexpectedly, I got a call and the caller ID displayed " My other me". I answered the call and she spoke so fast and really concerned.

  " Hey, where are you now? Tell me your location when I'm coming there? " 

  I took a deep breath and answered her

" Jess, I'm fine and I'm about to head home. Please re- heat food for me "

    " Ok but are you sure you're alright? " she sounded uncertain and worried.

   " I'm fine Jess no need to worry about me ok, and can you please order  almond and date pie with milkshake " I said.

    " But Gwen you prepared rice, chicken and salad, what do you need almond and date pie with milkshake for? " Her tone was skeptical and she continued " do you want to drown yourself in food "

  " Nope, but please order it ok" I said.

  " Ok " she said in a defeated tone.

     I turned around to tell the stranger bye but he wasn't there. That's strange, I said in my mind. Then I walked back to my car, opened it and headed home. 

Stranger POV

   I excused myself while I went to answer a call from my assistant. I don't want anyone to know my real identity. I walked to the park where the cars are. 

   " Jeff, why are you calling at this time?" I asked in a commanding tone.

   " Am sorry sir for calling at this time but CEO we have a problem! " With his voice feeling unhappy.

   " Ok, what's the problem?" Ask the stranger with an anxious tone.

  " Sir this matter is not meant to be discussed on the phone but I'll appreciate it if you can come to the company " his assistant said.

   " Ok I'll be there in an hour " the stranger said, looking behind he could see the faint figure of the lady he talked to 'Gwen Mark' . Her name rang inside his head. What's happening to me, he said in his mind and he shrugged off the strange feeling he was having. He entered his car and drove to JK fashion industry.

 At JK fashion industry

     " What the fuck are you saying!" furiously asked by someone " how did you get access to this vital information?" The person asks, trying to be cool.

    " CEO Jason we got this information from an insider at Daylight fashion industry and the person in charge of the designs is a woman, " his assistant said politely.

 " Ok, I need you guys to get the information about this woman who makes their company bloom and tell me everything about her, what she does, you know what I mean " Jason said as he rubbed the back of his neck.

   His assistant excused himself, while Jason was thinking about what to do. Few months ago, Daylight fashion industry has been the the second best for making dresses for actresses and actor, and JK fashion industry has been on the lead for years. It's also surprising, I must do something fast, Jason said in his mind.

  " Who is this mysterious woman" he clunched his fist tightly.

   Gwen POV

       I entered the house only to be attack by Jess who gave me a tight hug,

 " I'm sorry for what happened" she said as if it was her fault that my heart is broken.

 " Hey don't be sorry, everything happened for a reason" I exhaled " so where's my milkshake and almond and date pie with rice, chicken and salad" I said

 " Ummm Gwen do you really want to eat all those things this night" she asked feeling uncertain

  " Yeah I'll eat it with you" I said with a smile.

   " Ok I'll bring it, go and freshen up okay!" She said

  " Ok " I walked to my room feeling relieved

   " So you met a random guy at the beach who made you laugh" she said curiously

  " Yes " I turned my head to the window and looked at the sky, " i felt good talking to him, it was like I didn't even have an heartbreak today." I smiled at the shining stars" damn, I didn't get to see his face or ask for his name. I feel so unlucky." 

  " Ummm, someone seems to have a crush on a stranger " she chuckled and mimicks me" damn, I didn't get to see his face or ask for his name,I feel so unlucky "

 " I don't like him Jess, I'm just grateful for meeting him " I said with a calm expression

  She stared at me for some seconds and said " please eat something, madam I don't like him " and she walked to the kitchen

 " Jess don't make me annoyed now, and give me my food " I snatched the tray of food from her hands.

  " I thought it's our food" she said with a questioning look. 

 " Nope, it's for me now seems you've made me angry" I pretended to be mad at her. 

 " Please forgive me for mimicking you" she made a baby face.

 Oh gosh, I hate this face." I sat on the floor, " ok you can join me" 

 "Thanks love" she smiled like a little child.
