I was sitting in the common room with Draco and Lorenzo, the two were talking and I was just listening.
"By the way, I have a date with Daphne tonight." Lorenzo suddenly said and Draco started laughing.
"That's great, me with Astoria and you with Daphne! Perfect!" agrees Draco.
I sit there in shock.
They're kidding me.
Draco disappears into his room while Lorenzo looks at me.
"Is something?"
"Are you serious?"
"What?"
"The date with Daphne. Seriously?!" I remind him.
"Oh yes, I'm completely serious."
"You can't go on a date with her!"
"Why not?"
"Because- Because... Because the two of us wanted to study together today!" I lie and he looks at me.
"Really?"
"Yes, we decided that on Monday..."
"Then I'll cancel on her... I don't break any promises, I can definitely reschedule the date with her..." he says and gets up.
In the evening we sit in his room, he reads a book while I take notes.
He sighs.
I can not concentrate.
And I lied to him.
What a shit.
I sigh too and look at Lorenzo.
"Is everything okay?" he asks and takes my hand.
"I... Lorenzo I-" I take a deep breath.
"I lied to you... We didn't meet up to study, actually I just didn't want you to go on the date with Daphne..." I admit and he lets go of my hand again.
"Why is that! I fought for so long to get a date with her and now that I finally had a chance, you're lying to me! What's your problem?"
I flinch for a moment because he yells at me.
"I-"
"Speech." he says but I'm at a loss for words.
"Y/n!" he shouts again.
"Could you stop yelling at me, it's not helping at all!" I yell back.
He gets up and walks around his room, I get up too.
"Y/n why!" he shouts at me again.
"Fuck because you're just not mature enough! You're not man enough for her!"
He looks at me shocked.
"I'm a man Y/n!" he shouts at me.
"You are a man when I tell you that you are a man!" I yell back.
He looks at me and walks towards me.
"I'm already a man. Even without your consent!"
He's standing right in front of me, just me, him and our breath mingling.
